The King of Queens - Season 1 (DVD, 2003, 3-Disc Set)

What am I going to do now that "Friends" is gone? Watch "King of Queens" of course.

I dismissed this comedy when it first came out as a second-rate sitcom, but the more I watched, the funnier Doug Heffernan (Kevin James) became. Although watching he and Carrie (Leah Remini) battle back and forth is pretty funny, it's Carrie's dad Arthur, played by Jerry Stiller that really gets me rolling.

I have Seasons 1-4 on DVD, and they are all very good. If you miss Friends, you gotta check out the King of Queens.

Actually the DVD was for my son. Both of us love the TV series King of Queens. Kevin James, Leah Remini and Jerry Stiller are so good together. The other cast members are also wonderful. I think alot of people relate to this couple and can laugh at themselves. What a great show. I was glad to see the new season start.

I have to say that I love being able to watch my favorite episodes over and over. I got into this show in a later season, so I got to catch up with this dvd. The only thing I don't like, which this is on all television dvd's, is there is an intro song to every episode. You get a little tired of the song after you've watched a few of these dvd's in a row. I would highly recommend this season if you are a King of Queens fan.
