Kirby G6 Upright Cleaner

I LOVE Kirby Products. So far I have had a brand new G3 (which I lost in a divorce LOL) and have bought a used G3 on ebay which I have given to a friend and a used G6. These machines run and run and don't stop running and are THE BEST vacuums EVER! I have used others while cleaning and my parents' house, and I always feel like I am just pushing around dirt in comparison to using my Kirbys at home.

Having bought a brand new one when I was a first time home buyer, I don't regret paying the fortune for it, I am glad I have found Ebay so I could buy a used one. They work JUST AS WELL as brand new for a TINY FRACTION of the cost of brand new.

I also use the shampoo attachments - these things clean BETTER than a steamer and you don't have to wait all day for the carpet to dry and you won't be flattening the nap - practically brand new looking carpets when you're done!

If you want a great vacuum that supercedes ANYTHING you can by BRAND NEW at a store - by a USED KIRBY of ANY generation G3, G4, G5, G6... and later - you will not be sorry.

In case you haven't noticed - I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH GOOD things about Kirby products new OR used.

i bought my kirby from the salesman that came to my home and did the demonstration,it was our first pchs. when we bought our new home and the carpets were no longer fluffy and had stains,but what a difference after the kirby,it fluffed up the carpet,the stains were removed,and the blue carpet was nice and blue again and even had those vacuum lines we all like to see. what sold me on it was the fact it was good for allergens because my daughter suffers from athsma so i was a cleaning machine when i got it,i was vacuuming the mattressess and getting in all the the corners of my roomsm,even the ceilings,the fans and mini blinds,and with the shampooer,your carpet really smells clean,so no need for those carpet deodorises that are on the market to mask odors,the kirby gets down to the roor of the problem and clean deep into the carpet fibers,and as i said fluffs the carpet because other vacuums tend to wear them down. another great feature are the bags because the dirt stays in them unlike those bagless vacuums where you open the canister and the dust flys out.

What a cool Vacuum. This Kirby has five attachment tools that allows you to get into those special places. It has great suction and rotating brushes. This model is self-propelled and has the HEPA filtration system. The Vacuum is quite expensive and so are the replacement filters. I haven't found any other vacuum that comes with a 10 year warranty.

My wife had been wanting us to get a new vacuum so right before Christmas I decided to just do a search of Kirby vacuums and see what was out there. I chose Kirby because for a time my younger brother sold that type of vacuum and was always telling me how he'd go to a potential customer's house and have them vacuum their carpets with their vacuum and then when they thought it was clean then he'd use the Kirby and it would pull just tons of dirt out of the carpet that they didn't realize was there and would end up buying a vacuum from him. It was this particular model that he sold and when I contacted him to see if it was a wise decision he told me sure, go ahead and buy it as he could take it completely apart and put it back together again if needed and that if anything was wrong with it that it could be fixed easily.

What really surprised me was that the bid was extremely low on the unit I was looking at with only a few minutes left so I placed a bid in the last few moments of $175 fully expecting to be outbid but when all was said and done the unit sold for less than $5. I thought what is wrong with it?? Is there something I'm not seeing? But, when the unit arrived, it worked like a charm. I only needed to buy some bags but for a several hundred dollar machine I felt that was a minimal expense to have to endure. Probably one of my all time best buys on ebay! When I called my brother to tell him how much I paid for the unit he guessed $300 and I told him lower. He said lower??? When I told him how much he told me that I'd practically stolen the unit. Not sure if everyone was spent out from Christmas shopping or what, but I sure was in the right place at the right time on that ebay buy!

You just can't beat a KIRBY vacuum!!! Kirby's have outstanding power, enabling it to clean the most soiled carpets. The ease of adjusting the vacuum height makes the Kirby great for any carpet style. Kirby's convenient tool caddy lets you clean hard to reach areas, upholstery, and even hardword and tile floors. Many people use lesser quality vacuums due to the weight of the Kirby........ The weight of this great vacuum is not an issue, due to Kirby's DRIVE gear. The Kirby bags are simple to change and do an amazing job of keeping allergens out of the air. I personally would never use any other vacuum.
