Kirkland Signature Minoxidil 5% Extra Strength Treatment

Are losing your hair? Is there more hair on your brush or in your shower drain lately? Does Minoxidil work? Ahhh define work. Yes it works. Everybody different, for me I noticed my hair getting thinner, more in the drain and on the brush. So I gave Kirkland Signature Minoxidil 5% a shot, what did I have to lose...ahh more hair..that's already happening. I applied as directed and within a week I noticed my hair stopped falling out. That's a plus right there. Application of the product can be tricky because you want it on your scalp vs your hair, which can be helped by using a narrower dropper (not the supplied one) and tapping on the scalp and squeezing the bulb lightly. This stuff takes a while to dry and styling your hair may be tough depending on your style but you can just use it at nighttime, 1/2 the dose is better than nothing, it'll take twice as long to get results depending on how you respond to it. What to expect, this is my experience, you may have better results or not so, focus on the positives.

The before breakdown:

Gender:I'm a male mid to late forties
Baldness: mild, vertex large to medium, frontal thinning
Usage: 2mils daily, morning and night, 4mils daily total across whole top head and crown vertex area(I wear a hat during the day, lucky I guess)
Duration used: 1.25 years

The after breakdown:
Results are slow, this is not a fast product, patience is a definite must. I found at the 2-3 month mark my head was getting itchy, my thinking was my hairs are coming in or it was prop glycol irritation, don't scratch only rub. For a few days I'd back off treatment (once a day) and at night wash hair and coat head with hand lotion and leave it in overnight (just do it early enough to let it dry), sounds silly but worked great. When itching subsided after a few days I continued my 4mils a day treatment as usual. With my scenario my results got me 50% in the Crown vertex area it's easily covered up by styling across the area, front thinning area did fill in nicely at about 75% better than without and hairline maintained itself. Brush and drain are pretty much hair free still.

I do recommend this product but as a part of a regimen with other products, I maintain my schedule using Kirkland Signature Minoxidil 5% about 6 days a week. The other products I use is Emu Oil, I add a few drops in nighttime minox solution and it lubes my heads (great for scalp/skin), assists in the absorption, and inhibits a follicle clogging enzyme. Lastly, Poly Sorbate 80, research it, this stuff is amazing, it's a sebbum remover, the crud that clogs your hair pores. The other amazing thing about this is that it's a hair thickener. I know who'd a thought. What I do: I use in the morning with my shower shampooing, shampoo once as usual and rinse and shampoo again with a quarter size glob of shampoo, lather up the head and with a dime size glob or more add the Poly Sorbate 80 to the lather, you'll notice the lather diminish a little and the hair feel squeaky, just work it in to your scalp and leave in for 5-10 minutes, then rinse. If you research Poly Sorbate 80 and hair loss you'll find articles on it. Poly Sorbate 80 is perfectly safe, you actually have eaten it on occasion, it's a food additive to thicken like in mayonnaise. Look up: Magnesium oil and Aztec Clay Hair mask too.

I've only been using this product for less than three months time and I've already noticed a difference. I'm a man in my early 40's. I've always kept my hair short with a skin tight fade military cut, As I've gotten older I could see it becoming thinner and although I had plenty of hair, you could see my scalp in areas. I decided to give this product a shot. I didn't have a lot of faith that minoxidil would work, so I bought Kirkland which was significantly less in price than the name brand version. I figured this would be an inexpensive trial. Two months into it I can't be happier! As far as I'm concerned It works great and I'm sure just as well as the name brand stuff! I'm very pleased with the results! The hair looks thicker and my scalp isn't as apparent anymore. It's restored my confidence in my appearance. I won't be looking to switch brands either, Kirkland does the job right and at the right price!

We all know the brand name to this hair loss product. The label on this Kirkland product states it has the same 5% MINOXIDIL. I was able to get this brand at LESS THAN HALF PRICE of the brand name product. What A Deal 4 Me! I can not tell any difference between the two, but my billfold can. I Am A Buyer!

Very good product, has helped me a lot in the fight against hair loss. I Have been using minoxidil for at least three years, among the score I've ever experienced, the Kirkland was the best work for me. Besides being very expensive formula does not cause allergic reactions as with other brands. The first significant results were seen using the product after my four months of use. I recommend!

Although I have not as yet recieved this order yet,I am writing a review about it;as I have already bought it befor.This is well worth buying if you are just starting to loose hair,or to upkeep further use;as once you have regained hair useing this,or other products containing Minoxidil it is necissary to continue useing it,as if you stop you revert back to balding state.Some persons find it necissary to start there hair regroth by useing a slightly stronger version of Minoxidil containing 10% or 15% monoxidil,but normaly once full regrowth has been asertained you can use a slightly weeker monoxidil to maintain your hair regrowth.Also of help is to use DHT blokers,these can be bought as shampoo,conditioner,hair treatments as well as gells and hair foams,you will acheve a much better result useing a DHT bloker as it eradicates the angein that causes male paterned baldness,you most posibly will also if useing this type of bloker manage to regain much of your receeding frontal hair line,useing monoxidil alone will not normaly acheive any regrowth in these areas;but normaly without useing a bloker hair will regrow in the crown area alone.Useing vitamin suppliments and oral DHT blokers will also help.
