It stated out simple enough. one night i went to save a woman in trouble. the next thing i knew the doorway to hell had open and out stepped daimons vampire the likes of which i had never seen before. led by the son of apollo they are out to end the curse that has banished them all to darkness. the only problem with that is they have to kill cassandra peters to do it and if she dies, so dies the sun the earth and all who dwell here.

this is book 5 in the series and it's the first one where i didn't end up crying my eyes out. it also takes place time wise at the begining of night embrace and continues to after dance with the devil.
i often wonder in later books how the author keeps her time line straight.
also alot of previous characters show up in the end to support the main characters.

christopher reminds me alot of nick gautier. it's actually a good book.

This is another great novel in the Dark Hunter series. Another studly, long suffering hero has finally found his mate ( and someone who can remember him )only to find out she is of a race that his kind is sworn to destroy. Wulf learns a valuable lesson in not judging a book by it's cover....or something like that. He is also faced with losing her due to an ancient curse. I admit it...I had the teary eyes and sniffles but Kenyon always rewards us with happily ever after endings. As always... a great series.

Totally addictive series! In-depth character development, action packed, often unexpected plot turns, and great romances with no simpering maidens found. If you like mythology, shapeshifters, immortals, and vampires wrapped up in a story line which includes action-packed plots, intriguing characters, romance, love, and living, these are the books for you. Some of the books in the series are a very fun read, while others have characters which make you cry and root for them. Can't wait for the next in the series.

I love all her darkhunter books! This series is great and I always fall in love with the characters. I bought this book because I love science fiction/romance novels. Sherrilyn Kenyon is an absolute stunning writer and she has yet to dissapoint me with any of her books!

i love the dark hunters, i love to read sherrilyn kenyon books. the dark hunters are handsome, and dangerous all in one. the good and bad boy. when you start reading you cant put it down.
