Love them but not this CD
I love Shedaisy and knew this wasn't their "best" CD, so I wasn't suprized when I didn't "love it".

Album Notes
This is an Enhanced CD, which contains both regular audio tracks and multimedia computer files.Contains an untitled hidden track following "Keep Me".Shedaisy includes: Kelsi, Kristyn, Kassidy (vocals).Additional personnel includes: B. James Lowry (acoustic guitar); Dann Huff (electric guitar); Tim Akers (keyboards); Glenn Worf (bass); Steve Brewster (drums); Eric Darken (percussion).Despite careers in the music biz that started way back in the dim, distant '80s, sister act SheDaisy shows no signs of flagging on their fourth major-label album. Main songwriter Kristyn Osborn again comes up with a whole slew of radio-friendly cuts, and it appears that the group have paid attention to previous accusations of not being exactly country. Here are mandolins and steel guitars in abundance, and Dan Huff's production keeps the pop at a distance without shoving it out of the picture entirely. There's evidence of a rebellious streak in Osborn's songwriting this time around with the inclusion of "Man Goin' Down," which may induce apoplexy in some upstanding citizens but will delight the band's fans, and "I'm Lit," a female drinking song featuring a cod country interlude that's undoubtedly a stab at those aforementioned SheDaisy haters. There's also evidence of that Nashville no-no, independent creativity, in the arrangements here that makes KNOCK ON THE SKY something of a subversive exercise. When the girls sing "get up off your knees and dance" in "Repent" you can feel the walls of the city quiver a bit, if not exactly shake.
