) I have tried numerous at home, small size, espesso/capucino makers. This is the easiest and most consistent. Krups no longer makes its new version as sturdy or as good. My 8 year old one gave up the ghost so I tried to find it on Ebay and am very pleased with what I received.

Simple, cheap, easy to use machine that makes drinkable espresso. It's no match for what you will find in a good cafe or even an $800+ quality machine, but if you just need your morning burst of caffeine this is a reliable, inexpensive alternative. However, I've found that freshly grinding beans from my favorite local coffee shop produces a very tasty result with something that approximates crema. Also, it only takes about a minute of work to enjoy.
I purchased this item to replace one that came with my apartment. When I move out, this is the brand & model I will buy until I can afford an obscenely expensive machine.

) Krups is my favorite Espresso maker, but this one leaked. I have an 872 and an 871. They both work fine.

Everything went very smoothly. The product came as advertised. We had another one of these expresso makers that broke after years of use. My wife ppurchased a newer machine that did not work as well. We were pleased to find the same machine on E-Bay and it is making excellent expresso again.

This is the second Krups Expesso 872 machine we have owned - the other was starting to get worn - after 7 years of daily service making fantastic Latte, Capachino, and expresso. A Barista from Starbucks recomended the machine to us 7 years ago - as the BEST MACHINE FOR HOME EXPESSO - he was right. Thanks Tobias!
