) It's an attractive machine. It's easy to use the coffee maker, and the coffee was good. Grounds get in the coffee if you try to brew a strong whole pot. You can't froth milk while coffee is being made. The espresso that I made was also mediocre, and with all of the cafes I've worked in, I don't think it was me. I haven't used a lot of home espresso makers though, so thet may all be this way.

) I have had 2 Krups combination Coffee/Espresso makers in the past and have been quite satisfied with them, however this one was defective right out of the box. The Espresso pump was either not working or was never even hooked up (according to Krups Rep). Since then I have encountered many negative reviews about this machine on various websites.

) Needed a combination expresso/drip coffee machine for our cabin. This was an excellent choice. Works well for both functions, takes up little room, easily cleaned - well engineered.
