Kung Fu, the complete series, it's great

I was feeling nostalgic when I heard that David Carradine died, and just had to buy this. I have been enjoying it greatly. I have a busy life, and look at each episode as a mini movie. I don't have time to sit for 2 hours. There are about 40 min. each and have no commercials. I used to watch this show when I was little with my dad, and it brings back pleasant memories. It is a little inspirational also, to watch someone who is so serene, wise, and moral, but can also kick ***, when they have too.

I enjoyed this series when it first came out, and am enjoying it almost as much now. Even my kids and wife have watched and enjoyed it. Package was factory sealed, but one side of one dvd will only play in my newest dvd player (did not work in 3 others). Also, there is no fast forward or rewind in any of my players. You can skip back to the beginning of a scene or episode, but cannot fast forward or rewind. Overall I'm glad i bought it.

When the tv series was new, reliving Caine's training on every episode was just
fine. But now on DVD rather frustrating.
The lessons of ethics and kindness in these dramatic stories may well help to
instruct the Wii crowd. Time will tell.
Hokey premise, action is satisfying.

Kung Fu: The Complete Series Coll (DVD 2007-11disc set)

As a fan of the show way back, I had always wanted to own the dvd collection. David Carradine's unfortunately timely death came in threes: his, Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson. It is a very sad time now for their family and of course all the fans that have enjoyed their talented art for many years. I would have rather have them still living to see them more. May God Bless them always!
