Kung Fu Panda (Xbox 360, 2008)

Yet another obligatory game based on a popular movie. While it incorporates elements of the movie, the challenges and levels are loosely based on them movie at best. Even the early levels may prove extremely difficult for younger players, but is still enjoyable.

Certainly not worth the full retail price, especially for younger children that will almost certainly become frustrated quiet early on, but well worth it if you are able to pick it up used.

Kung Fu Panda for xbox 360 is a great game for children and adults alike. You the panda have to go on a journey to become a Kung Fu master.


Gameplay/Controls, 9/10 - Very basic here. Thumbsticks control your direction and movement. BAXY control your attacks and Jumps. Very basic stuff that is very easy to learn.

Graphics, 9/10 - Surprisingly enough, the graphics are amazing on this game. When I turned on the console and seen the graphics, I really was wowed. I have a HD television, and the graphics show up nicely with no glitches or choppiness.

Sound, 9/10 - Excellent sounds, non repetitive actions with different enemies.

Replay value, 8/10 - Nothing special the 2nd time around. If you beat the game, simply restart from scratch and do it all again.

Overall, 9/10 - For this genre of game. It deserves a 9. Its a great game for children as the violence is very minimal. No cussing, no harsh graphics. Its all about the kids in this one. A must for anyone below 13 years of age.

I purchased this game for my son (4 years old) who really enjoyed the movie and kept doing karate moves pretending to be Po! Although it may be a little advanced for a 4 year old he has picked it up pretty quick and only needs help every now and then. I have played it a little and it is a very vibrant and fun game to play, whether you are a kid or an adult.

Don't get me wrong, it isn't a game a 4 year old can complete easily, there are some tricky parts, so if you are thinking of purchasing this game I would recommend it. It's an enjoyable game.

My nine year old son is rating this game, he loves it. It only took him one day to complete the game on the easy level. He has not played it on the more challenging levels as yet.

This game follows the movie but also has alot of added levels not part of the movie. The game is fun and not too hard, for the most part. There are a few parts that are pretty difficult, where you have a split second to hit specific buttons, or you die. You do get to play briefly as the other characters, which is cool.
I got this game hoping for easy XBOX Live achievement points. It took me several hours to play through, and I only got about 200 points. You have to find every single objective item in each level in order to get points for that level. I had difficulty going back to play specific levels after I beat the game.
For entertainment purposes, I would recommend this game. For Achievement points, I would skip this one.
