Movie synopsis
ALLY McBEAL creator David E. Kelley wrote and produced this smalltown horror comedy with equal parts laughs and gore. When scientists studying beavers in a Maine lake are killed by something mysterious in the water, an investigation reveals a very large crocodile with an insatiable appetite. The cast of characters sent in to try to catch the murderous beast includes a game warden (Bill Pullman), a scientist (Bridget Fonda), and a professor with a fondness for the scaly beasts (Oliver Platt). Betty White is an elderly local woman who has a knack for disarming everyone with her saucy language.

) This movie is one of my favs. Betty White is unbeatable as is Oliver Platt. Bought it because unlike television, the DVD has the whole package. Lots of swearing - but most of it by sweet Betty White which makes it even funnier. It's a light, no-brainer movie for people who enjoy ribald humor and laughing out loud.

) Great little horror movie. I find it funny that the story takes place in Maine (but was shot in California). Why Maine? Florida would have been more logical. I highly doubt they have alligators in New England especially with one of this size and magnitude. I enjoyed Betty White's performance and over all found this movie highly entertaining. Great effects.

) I rather enjoyed this movie. I didn't think I would just because the story line is so far fetched. But, Betty White is hilarious, with great acting as always. 30 foot alligators in Maine though? This one kind of makes you think, what if?

I love horror movies.. this was somsthing new for me to try. and my mom and i sat and watched this movie and we liked alot so we wanted to add it to our collection.. thanks
