Great for nursing/medical students!

Created: 04/03/11
I brought this textbook for my Medical Terminology class, an elective I decided to take up. I am very satisfied with this book, the contents is amazing and simple to grasp. I'm a nursing student and is currently taking microbiology. This textbook (class) is definitely useful and I only wish I knew about this before entering A&P I! It would have made my life so much easier.

This book breaks down terms, most of which are common, and makes it easy to understand. There are a lot of practices and excerises for you to test yourself. This textbook is a must have for those who is interested or is going into medical professions!

Medical Terminology made easy

Created: 09/09/09
This book has short chapters with GREAT review exercises (called "Activities" in this book) at the end of each chapter. Quite a variety of different activities to choose from that will reinforce your knowledge of the terms. The chapters have great examples of how the terms are used. There is a CD that is extremely easy to use and extremely helpful. It even keeps a record of each activity you do and your scores from the 1st chapter to the last. You can get a printout anytime you want of your % complete and your testing scores.

I think this is one of the best medical texts I have used in all of my classes and would recommend it to anyone. If your professor requires it for a Medical Terminology class, I'm sure you will agree with me. If not required, maybe you should purchase a used copy just as a reference and for the practice activities.
