Layer Cake, Jelly Roll and Charm Quilts by Pam Lintott and Nicky Lintott (2009, Paperback)

With all of the new precuts available (layer cakes, jelly Rolls and Charm packs) their size and shape make it easy to sew super fast quilts with a great deal of variety in piecing. Nicky and Pam have written an easy to understand, follow and inspirational book to make the very best use of these industry precuts. I particularly like the inclusion of two colorways for each pattern. I don't know about you, but it's hard for me to visualize another colorway other than the usual one pictured by most authors. Precuts save a great deal of time and fuss in trying to build compatible colorations in a quilt--it's a piece of cake to produce stunning quilts. Thank you, Lintotts, for a great book!

Beautifully illustrated finished products. Each quilt specifies what you need, i.e., a layer cake, jelly roll and/or charm pack plus extra yardage. Helpful tips are included. A well written book that is informative to any level quilt maker.

I have a large number of charm packs in my stash. I was looking for a pattern
book to get ideas on cute ways to use them (I do mostly quilts for children).
I purchased the book and was delighted. I would recommend it to others. I've

It is fairly comprehensive using the pre cut fabric. gives a lot of good ideas.
I bought it because all the other books I have are strictly for pieceing regular quilts. I have a lot of pre cut fabric. Should be good.
