Learning to Sign Hearing the Music in Your Life

First of all, I am a die hard Clay Aiken fan. I admire him not only for his talent, but for all the good he does for children all around the world.
A friend of mine gave me the book to read. She highly recommended it. I was only on page four, when I felt the tears swelling in my eyes. Clay had an abusive biological father. He and his mother were lucky enough to get away from him when he was almost four. When he was about six, his mother remarried, and even though he considered Ray Parker his father, Ray didn't treat him like a son. Yet he loved Ray very much.
I found the book to be funny in some parts, knowing Clay's sense of humor, but very sad when it came to how he was treated by kids in school. I cried through most of this book. His mother taught him wonderful values, which is why he is the person he is today.
There wasn't anything about this book I didn't like. I gave this book an Excellent rating, because it is well written and it touched my heart as well as my soul.

Honestly, one of the most heartfelt, honest and at the same time, hilarious, books I've ever read! My 10 year old daughter really enjoyed it, too. Everyone has felt picked on, everyone has felt shunned. Clay Aiken shares his story with humor and wit. Clay is someone with whom everyone can identify, and his words will lift you up as you see how he overcame adversity to become the hottest pop star of this age.

I have been a Clay Aiken fan ever since he started on American Idol. So when he was in the top two, I was in heaven. I have learned about him from his book and the kind of person he is. I enjoyed his book again and will read it again to see what I missed the first time. Thanks ebay for having it available

This book truly shows Clay as an genuine human being and if you are not a fan before you read you will be. To rise up from such a rough situation and to remain so strong in faith blows me away. Some moments will bring you to tears and others will light up your heart.
