Regarding my Purchase

If you like Zelda or any side scrolling beat em up with depth you'll love Legend of Mana. The game has a score of very unique characters, both Friendly and hostile. Also, the game has a very high level of customization, from the world map (yes, the world map), the gender and weapon type your character uses, the materials used in your equipment, and even the name of your weapon is customizable. In short, if you like any of the Mana series of games, dark cloud, or action RPG's, i recommend you buy this game.

Legend of Mana is one of those games that has something for everyone. With so many quests and so many side activities, such as weapon creation and pet raising, Legend of Mana will certainly give players a fantastic bang for their buck. The game may not appeal to every gamer, considering its unique brand of play and sheer difference in style from the rest of the Seiken Densetsu series. However, those who give Legend of Mana a chance are sure to find a truly gratifying, unforgettable experience.

I've played Legend of Mana a few years back and it's just as much fun now as it was then. You get to pick your character (either male or female) and you start out on a map where you place your mailbox (home). For every new area you discover, you get an 'artifact' which you place on the map. It's cute, funny and fun to play. I loved the game, and this is coming from a kid at heart. =)

The Legend that last forever

Legend of Mana is pretty much the GTA(Grand Theft Auto) of RPGs the whole game revoles around you wondering, helping the wide variety of characters with whatever they need wither it be monster slaying etc. As more quests are done a bigger story will come forth(Save the World! No Way!)but adding to this the game has three main stories that all have their own cast of characters that you meet and fight with, A big plus is all these characters are playable whenever they are in your party by a second player. For all that you can do I only mention the main story elements so have fun if you can get your hands on it.
P.S. Have fun with "No Future Mode" O.o

Legend of Mana, one of the best PS1 games.

While I've always loved video games this was my very first RPG and none has lived up to it. In this game you're character is not following any particular story lines which makes the game a lot more different. There are many choices and story lines you can follow or choose not to follow. Despite it's age, the graphics are wonderful, and are comparable to manga artwork. It has a battle system that is simple yet entertaining and leaves you wanting more. It is no wonder why the prices of this product haven't gone down since the releases of new game systems. A classic game I wouldn't give up and despite newer games of the series, it is still unmatched. This game is for anyone who enjoys Japanese RPGs, or even just Japanese animation as the game graphics are just like an anime. I bought this game because when I was younger I didn't have the money to actually purchase it and ended up renting it from block buster's all the time, and now I would like to enjoy it again.
