The Legend of Awesome
Created: 03/08/10
As a long-time Zelda lover, it was a breath of fresh air to play the Game Boy Advance port of original Legend of Zelda, especially since the past few titles (Spirit Tracks, Phantom Hourglass, Twilight Princess) were so linear! This game gives no hints as to Link's next move, and requires an extensive amount of scouring exploration in order to find the dungeons! For a game released in the 80's, it does the Zelda series well to have a title so simple, yet so tough - in comparison to titles like Ocarina of Time and The Wind Waker, the difficulty level is way up, and every dungeon seems fresh, although the layouts are the main difference (the music and coloration doesn't change much), especially since you actually have to work to find them! I found myself feeling more accomplished after I found and finished a dungeon than I did playing any other Zelda, under the same situation. All in all, a great game, would recommend to any serious Zelda player.

Legend of Zelda GBA

The LEgend of Zelda for the GBA is the same one from the NES in the late 80's. It is the first of the popluar series that has been goin on for over 20 years. It plays well and I have had no trouble with it. If you are new to the Zelda series see how it began with this game. If you're a Zelda fan, born in the mid to late 80's and grew up in the 90's with the NES take a trip down memory lane with this classic. If you're into Zelda in today's times see how old school the series is. It's a classic and will rank up along with the best! Now go and save Hyrule from Gannon's evil ways and save Princess Zelda..only to not get a kiss. well excuse me, Princess!

Zelda for a New Generation

I grew up playing Zelda on the original NES System, I remember racing home from school to take on the persona of Link and do battle with the evil Gannon. I fell in love for the first time with the Princess Zelda. I loved the game then and I continue to love it to this day. I now have the opportunity to introduce my young daughter to the land of Hyrule. She is embarking on her own adventures with Link and I see a small part of my childhood in her eyes as she makes her way through the different dungeons and adventures. This game is the original, the standard that has inspired so many other role playing games to date.

The Timeless Classic Goes Portable
Created: 13/04/06
Simply put, this when it came out became one of the best games ever made, and to this day, still remains as such. It pioneered the way games would be made, in a time where most games like Mario were still fun but didn't require much in the way of problem solving or have the enormous depth that this game had. Everything about this game was brilliant for its time, the graphics, music, challenging layouts, and of course the incredible gameplay that spanned what was an enormous game at the time, so much so it was the first ever released with an internal battery that would save progress so you could pick up and play where you left off for the next time you'd play.
Either if you remember and love playing this game before, or have never experienced this game before, this is an absolute must-have for any collector. The portability makes it much more great now that you can play it on the go, but this game is an exact replica of the original version in every other way, leaving it unchanged and still one of the most brilliant works of art in video game history, and still remains as such to this date.

Zelda: The One that Started Them All
Created: 02/01/07
Hours and hours of my life have been spent burning pushes, killing Octoroks or generally pinning after Zelda. This classic started them all and created a game genre that few have been able to emulate. Nintendo will forever dominate my generation as long as they produce games in the Zelda/Link series.
