The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D (Nintendo 3DS, 2011)

I'm not going to insult this game by trying to describe the storyline or graphics etc.. You have to experience it for yourself. And I guess that there are few gamers that haven't played this before. Great conversion from N64 to 3DS. This game has lost none of its magical greatness on its journey from Nintendo 64 to Nintendo 3DS. On the contrary. Watching the sun set on Hyrule field is even more beautiful than it was before. Once you start this game you'll be completely absorbed by it. But I expected nothing less from a port of the greatest game ever. This is the only game I'll never get tired of completing over and over again. Incredible that so much gaming-joy can fit into such a tiny cartridge and such a tiny console. I recommend not exaggerating the 3D effect. Just barely tap it, and the game looks even better than it did on Nintendo 64. Control-wise the design of the 3DS isn't as good as the N64-controller was, so the battles when encountering stalfos (those skeleton-enemies) can actually be quite difficult. But you can't blame this game for the fact that the 3DS doesn't feel so good to hold as a regular game-pad. When you enter 1st person view you will be able to look around by rotating yourself while holding the 3DS in front of you. So in a way you are actually becoming Link, kind of. You really feel like you are the person standing there on Hyrule field. It's really incredible.

First of all, I must say that the game is so good, even the box is: in the box, you get a fully colored manual, which is great. The game itself looks vibrant and fun, I played through the first hour, the story is nice. I can't say much because it has just started, but some of the dialogue is very rich and poetic, the other dialogue in the game is kind of repetitive. The gameplay is amazing, the 3D actually makes the game better, also the gyroscope controls are accurate and easy to use. Mapping some options to the touch screen focuses all the action on the 3D screen, which makes the game even more fun to play.
I highly recommend this game, it's a must buy for any Zelda fan and any 3DS owner.

All I can say is that the name of the game speaks by itself, the legent of Zelda is an old time favorite and a new exciting mitos for the newcomer. This Zelda has enhance graphics, beautiful 3D effect, nostalgic musical score and a proven by time classic story of Link and Zelda. Is worth your money and time.

A legend that was refined into this product swept me away with the storyline. Like the N64 version, everything was kept the same. There are new features to the game where master quest and a boss mode is available. The master quest is very challenging, but fulfilling.

If you're a Zelda fan, two words for you, must have. I only bought a 3DS to play this game and I don't regret it. It is good to remember the old times with this classic and it haven't loss its beauty yet. The only think I complain a little is about the 3D which can get a bit painful after a while, but the game is still playable nonetheless. Besides you can deactivate the 3D if you want and the 3D will still look pretty.

Overall, a great experience and fun for old and new players.
