Legends of Wrestling II (Sony PlayStation 2, 2002)

"Legends Of Wrestling II" is literally a few steps up in being better than the first one. Here on the second one they really did try and enhance the game in a lot of ways. The entrances are a lot cooler looking on here than on the first one. They gave the wrestlers better entrance music as well on here. Some are revamped renditions of the entrance songs some of these wrestlers came to the ring to in real life, as old school wrestling fans will notice. One thing they did make better this second time around are the controls. The controls on the second game are not as stiff moving as they were on the first one. It's easier to navigate the wrestlers around the ring and such on here, but still the controls are nothing fantastic to brag about, just better than they were.

This sequel game to the first one does have MOST (not all) of the guys from the first "Legends Of Wrestling" game on here again, but they also added a lot of new legends on here as well. Ones such as "Rowdy" Roddy Piper, Sid Vicious, Bruno Sammartino...etc. and a few host of others. They did see fit to put Davey Boy Smith on here which was smart this time around, considering for some reason they left him off on the first one, but put his life long partner in the ring Dynamite Kid on there instead. On here you can reunite The British Bulldogs for tag team action at will. You have more match types on here also which is a cool new addition to the game. Matches such as the Ladder match, Cage match, Battle Royal....etc. And you also can have besides a standard tag team match, you can also have 3 way, 4 way, 6 man and 8 man tag team matches that weren't available on the first "Legends Of Wrestling" game. The arenas you wrestle in look a lot better also, and bigger. If you're hungry for a serious cup of nostalgia, this game is for you. But don't expect perfection from it in all areas.

Like the first game this one is big on nostalgia factor and small on execution. The career mode is much better than the first one, but the gameplay is buggy and the overall presentation is tacky by modern gaming standards. The wrestler interviews are a nice extra. Decent for a cheap price.

I bought the game Legends of Wrestling II. I thought it was a great price for that item. My grandson will love it. Browsing to see if we find more games at these great values./ Today is Friday my grandson recieved the game he is enjoying it. He loves it.

My Down Syndrome brother is an avid old school wrestling fan. He has just about every one of those old wrestlers that are rubber. I ordered this game for him and he plays it every spare minute he has. There a several nice features on this game that gives him a sense of Yellow Hulk Hogan (as he calls his favorite). This game was well worth the money!

I BOUGHT THE GAME FOR MY SON TO PLAY IT AND HE LOVES IT. IT WORKS LIKE IT WAS BRAND NEW BUT I BOUGHT IT USED. IF YOU HAVE A LITTLE ONE WHO LOVES WRESTLING THIS THE GAME FOR THEM. DON'T TELL ANYONE BUT I SOMETIMES PLAY IT TOO.
