    Great set but why did Lego decide to withdraw it?

    This set was top of my son's 11th birthday wish list and it took some tracking down to find a seller who wasn't charging scalping prices because Lego had discontinued it. It turned out to be a great purchase (we paid a bit less than regular retail) as it kept my son busy for hours in the building. The finished set is outstanding in terms of the number of extras it has - knobs to turn to make things open and close, fancy landing gear, components that separate in separate toys and so on.
    I can only hope that, with the demise of the bionicle series, Lego comes up with something equally challenging as these big bionicle kits. Having said that, I think the regular bionicle figures are disappointing junk, pretty much the same kit over and over again.
