Great little work out video!

For the lst time ever, I enjoy an exercise DVD! Leslie Sansone's Walk at Home 5 Day Slim Down is a quick efficient work out.
Warm up...pick a mile of your choice, cool down, DONE.
Your daily exercise is done in less than 1/2 hr.!
You can do as many miles as you wish, from 1 to 5, with levels from moderate to power walking...it's just FUN.
Overall, I really do enjoy it and would highly recommend this for those like myself who DREAD exercise, but need to get up and off that couch! :-)

Best way to get back into exercise...

I needed something that I could pace myself after several cancer operations and other things I don't wanna talk about, no reason to give any more power to things that do not matter!
I luv how Leslie walks you through the workouts and how the DVD is setup so you can take your time and build up your stamina.
I've never purchased anything like this before and after checking her site and all the reviews from other websites this is the one I decided would be best for me because I needed to take it slow but knew I would be able to to more as I went and this DVD is excellent in that area.
There are 5 complete workouts and each are a 1 mile workout. What you do is build up by adding days to your workout. So you start by dong each of the 1 mile workouts that's takes you 5 days...and then you can work your way up to going all 5 workouts, about 45 minutes at one time, and when you get to this level...you're feeling great!!!
Don't get me wrong, just doing each day at a time makes you feel great too...lol Sooooooo I do recommend this DVD to anyone needing to get in shape, even if you've never thought that walking, like me, could do the job, boy was I wrong, I luv this DVD and of course Leslie makes you feel like it's just you and her..lol

I've bought many exercise DVD's, including others with Sansone, but this one is exceptional. She starts with a 14 min. easy walk. The next mile is focused on arms, the next, legs, and the third, stomach - building muscle while keeping your heart rate up. Mile 4 is a brisk, 5 mph push. You can pick and choose which mile(s) to do at each session. As usual, she ends the DVD with a cool-down and stretch.

Walk at Home-5 Day Slim Down

Before I began exercising using the Walk at Home DVD, I was a complete couch potato. The only walking I did was at the grocery store.
On the first day of exercising, I was not able to walk the full mile. By the second day, however I was able to complete the mile, and I started feeling more energetic. Ms. Sansone presents exercises for Day 1 through Day 5, with each day focusing on different areas of the body (arms, legs, etc.).
Other components of the DVD include: warm up and cool down exercises and a presentation on healthy breakfast menus.
I give this DVD an A-plus, because it got me stimulated to do daily aerobic exercise and keeps me interested and motivated.

Leslie Sansone walking dvd- great workout for me

I like the fact I can workout in my own home. I did not want to spend the time or money going to a gym. This is a good workout and very good for me, a beginning exerciser. I have been walking with the DVD for 3 weeks almost everyday and love it. I hate to miss a day. You can walk one, two, three, four or all five miles. It also has a warm up and cool down segment. I love it.
