Movie synopsis
At age 16, a naive and impressionable Amy Fisher was seduced by the mature and married Joey Buttafuoco. Her one chance at happiness seemed to be with Joey, but his wife stood in the way. So she attempted to kill Joey's wife. But in court, Joey denied being Amy's lover and having anything to do with his wife's injuries. Based on Amy's true story.

) Her story is pretty convincing. After reading her book (amy fisher:my story) and then the movie, which is of course shorter than the book, I believe he did have an affair with her. I thought for the longest she was an infatuated teenager, but she sure knows way too many details about Joey and his family. I hope Mary Jo is not keeping blinders on. But only Amy and Joey know the truth.
All in all as far as a drama movie, not just it being the amy fisher story, its well made. Worth watching, but maybe not owning.

This story was amazing.When I first watched it on television,I couldn't believe how an elderly man could be attracted to this young child!It's very disturbing to me that some men do prey on young girls.I'm glad it came out on dvd though,because it's a reminder to keep your children in close check!

) I thought the movie was a good depiction of Amy Fishers side of the story..The acting was prety decent,It was totally different than Joey Buttafuccos version.I happen to see all of these movies and this one was the probably the best..I bought it because I wanted to see all the movies that were released at the time this crime took place..
