Movie synopsis

MAMMA MIA!’s Amanda Seyfried stars in this romantic drama set in Verona, Italy. A young American journeys to the town, where she becomes a volunteer, answering letters addressed to Shakespeare’s Juliet that ask for the fictional young character’s advice on love. When an older woman (Vanessa Redgrave) receives her response, she too travels to Italy, where romance is on the itinerary for both women.

While the movie was indeed charming and made you feel good watching it, the star of the movie is the landscape of the Tuscany area. How magnificent the country side was captured. All we could think about was wanting to go back to Italy and enjoy Verona, Sienna and the beautiful landscape and way of life enjoyed in Italy. Worth watching for just the scenery. Although Amanda is real "cute".

Has a hopeless romantic, I loved this movie, & I still love it. Its a movie that reminds you that true love truly never dies and always finds a way to win, through life's stages & chapters. Anytime I feel hopeless, I watch this movie and it fills me with hope all over again. If you like your romances, you'll love this movie.

This is a great movie. Franco Nero is still as sexy as ever!!! Loved the story with Amanda Seyfried!! Vanessa Is still good for an old actress, too.

great movie exactly what i expected! i am a chick flick fan! i loved how you actually got to see the beautiful landscapes and how they brought the actual story of romeo and juliet into the movie. so glad i bought it!

It was a very good and charming movie. Never get tired of of seeing it again. The scenery was fantastic and romantic. A movie to watch with your special person.
