LG 830 Spyder (Unlocked) Cellular Phone

It's a good size, feels like it'll last unlike it's plastic counterparts. Having both the touchscreen and slide out key board is really nice. the touch screen takes some time to get used to but i'm completely happy with it. it takes great pictures for a cell phone and the flash is a plus. the user interface is great and the having the microsd is another plus. the only two things i do not like about it is 1. to call from your contacts takes more time than an average phone, (looking up the contacts and scrolling to find the correct person is a bit cumbersome). 2. It could just be my building or where i live, i don't know, but sometimes it doesn't get the best signal and i drop more calls than my old lg scoop (don't get me wrong i like this phone much much more than the scoop). I would recommend this phone for some who doesn't want to pay more for a smart phone plan, wants the features of a touch screen or just wants a touch screen and isn't ready to give up the manual keypad just yet. all in all, a great purchase.

Ok. So i got this phone for backup or idk. The phone is awesome. This phones carrier is US CELLULAR. The only reason that it would be a 3.5 is because once and awhile the touch stops.

This phone is basically an LG Shine but with a full touch screen for the whole top sliding panel. My main issue with the phone is the screen, nothing calibration to the screen won't fix, I just have to do it every time I want to use it. The phone has a solid feel to it as well.

The features are a 5.0 and i love them but for the screen going out, I just have to rate it based off everything

the phone seems to be a pretty good phone. The charging port seems to have some problems with coming loose and the touch screen has some problems every once in a while. It has a nice sturdy case and the features are good and you don't have to have a special more expensive plan to use the phone all in all it is a good phone.
I do however have problems with the actual LG people and the way they do not stand behind their products and their customer service is terrible.

This phone is great looking and very smart operating. I've always wanted a slider phone and this one fits perfectly. The touch screen is awesome and very responsive so I don't need to press very hard. The only thing that can be annoying but is very good to have is the unlocking of the phone. Even when you are on the phone to hang up you have to unlock the phone to press End. But overall, if you want a pretty cool phone then pick the Glimmer.. which I think is the best phone Alltel has to offer.

I have had alltel service for many years now and this phone by far is the best phone i have every used it is easy the use touch screen and i have had some pretty crappy touch screens before and with the extra memory capacity and battery life is amazing i can not charged it for a week and it will still be alive this phone is a must have! The only phone that i have seen that would be better than this phone as far as easier to use and applications, it the iPhone but it is not available for alltel service, but i have used it through a friend, one other thing about this phone is texting is so easy to use on this phone, i used to hate to text, bet with this phone i would rather text that talk, like i said if you are considering this phone it is a must have!
