Most of the phone including the 2 sim function work very well. It isn't an android. the battery usually lasts about 3 days on a charge. The user manual isn't available in English so you need to be able to figure it out on your own. Since 2 sim phones aren't sold in USA your service provider won't know any more about the phone than you do, T-mobile was very helpful with me at trial and error settings until we got the internet settings right and working. We still haven't figured out picture messaging yet although text messaging works fine. LG USA knew even less about the phone and LG HK won't return emails. This phone seems to have a slow processor with at least a full second between icon selection and screen change. All that being said the 2 phone # benefit makes it all worthwhile. It color codes line 1 as blue calls and 2 as red, on inbound, outbound and phonebook. You have individual settings for each line. The camera is good, the touchscreen is just ok, reception is good, the phones size is like a 4" long credit card. It has T9 and qwerty, Internet runs on Opera at 2G speed. Bluetooth works good, haven't tried the music or headset yet. the games on it are worthless demos. Wi-Fi works good.

LG Muziq - is it all its cracked up to be?

Created: 29/01/09
I was pleased when my phone arrived via USPS, upon opening the box everything looked tip-top; the phone looks sleek and all the components were shipped with the phone. After using the phone now for about a week or so I have noticed severel problems that would make me not rebuy this phone

Pros:
1. Slick design
I love the way this phone looks and how it fits into your hand.

2. Music
This phone is a great MP3 player, but if you're looking for a phone to play music through the speakerphone, get a Sanyo (known mostly for their long battery life and GREAT speakerphone quality {They are used to making phones with direct connect})

3. Texting
One thing I've noticed with LG that I haven't seen on other phones is the predictive text that will auto fill commonly used phrases, i.e. if I say "Hey man, im at work" severel times the phone will remember that and when i type Hey it will suggest man, etc. so I don't have to type the whole thing every time (Granted it erases the phrase leading from the first word if you reuse that word before something else, but its a nice feature)

Cons:

1. Battery life
The battery life on this phone isnt the worst that I've had, but it is by far the best. The most I've been able to squeeze out of it is eight (8) hours, with no use but to look at the clock occasionally. Normally I have to charge it every night, and every day when i get home from school/work. I dont use my phone exessively but I know I cant get more than eight hours of standby or two to two and a half hours talk time (my old LG Fusic got 4-5 hours talk time and 15-20 hours standby time)

2. Signal
In my room, where I normally use my phone, my old phone (LG Fusic) would get nothing less than a full five bars of service. With the Muziq I'm lucky to see three. And driving with the phone I've noticed it go to roaming when i should have more than enough signal for a full five bars. Maybe its just a defective unit, or maybe its the phone itself.

3. Music player
On the LG Fusic you could play music straight from the memory card. On the Muziq I can look at the songs I have on the memory card, but I cant seem to find where in the phone you can play it from (if you can at all.)

Overall:
LG makes good phones, but the Muziq seems to be their pinch hitter in this game. Some nice features but in the long run they should have just offered the Fusic in new colors. It had better signal, battery life, and playability. This phone only gets 3/5 for me. For $75.00 to replace the Fusic I dropped in a lake it wasn't a bad deal, but I would have liked to see something better from LG this time around.

Good phone quality, other functions are okay

Created: 09/11/10
The LG BL40 is beautiful to look at, almost like a piece of art. The red and silver trim highlights the glossy piano black finish. I have had this phone for close to one month. After reading the reviews, I bought the phone for its good-looks while knowing some of its limitations. It came with a soft black case which fits like a glove, but the case can be difficult to remove sometimes because it is too tight. The phone feels solid in your hands, not like a cheap toy. Aside from its looks, the most important thing to me was that it functions well as a phone. I previously purchased a different cell phone, the LG Cookie, from a different online vendor, and I was shocked that the calls had too much other noise, which I originally thought was a problem with the phone so I exchanged it for another one, but ended with the same problem, so I had no choice but to return it. (I was surprised because I thought all cell phones would have perfected the phone sound quality in this day and age.) The sound quality of the calls on the BL40 are excellent, just clear conversations, the way it should be. The touch screen numbers are large and the screen is sensitive when dialing. Most of the time, I use my saved favorite contacts, but the menus are a bit slow to respond to your touch so navigation can be cumbersome. LG could have made some additional tweeks to the proprietary operating system, which I found not to be the most user friendly. Also, during a call, my hands may sometimes accidentally touch the screen while I am not holding it up to my ears, which triggers an unintended response. This is annoying and it takes a little getting used to the touch screen without a keypad. The touchscreen recognizes multi-touch but its not smooth. The other functions on the phone, such as the camera, FM radio, web browser, games, and texting are slightly above average but not excellent. I don't use those others functions as much so they are not as important to me, but are there if I need them. The phone did not come with a CD for the computer software and you need to download it off the LG website for updates, which was not convenient and I had a bit of trouble with the installation. After several tries, I got it to install somehow. I was disappointed with the computer software because it was limited in the types of files it transfers on the phone. If you have some patience for gadgets and need a gorgeous-looking and quality-sounding phone, the LG BL40 is for you. Otherwise, look elsewhere.

Many feature a combination of

The Viewty Smart has a gorgeous display and a best-of-class user interface. But we've already seen that stuff on the LG Arena so our brief experience with the Viewty was hardly a revelation.

Instead of bringing any revolutionary upgrades, the LG Viewty Smart is there to simply expand the LG S-class portfolio in a camera-centric direction. The LG Arena has quite a nice camera as well, but a 5 megapixel sensor is no longer flagship stuff these days.

Since the LG Viewty Smart retains almost the same compact dimensions as the LG Arena, fitting the bigger camera module, called for a certain downgrade of the other features. In this case, it was obviously the 3.5mm audio jack and the FM transmitter that got axed.

Excellent Phone(suggestion though))

Created: 30/01/11
This is a really great phone. Crystal call quality, nice touch resistant screen, and smooth performance. Fantastic camera with flash and video mode. Also has a built in video editor that you can have a little fun with.
My only complaints about the Eve are in battery life and the Android OS itself. The battery only lasts about a day with regular use. Honestly maybe a day and a half but I always charge it to be safe.
The problem with the OS isn't in Android itself, Android's great. The problem is that for some reason LG nor any phone provider(in Canada or U.S. to date) has released the upgrade to 2.2. In fact it hasn't even gotten the update past 1.5 yet. This is a big issue as it drastically reduces the amount of apps you can use.
I would suggest putting Open Etna on it. Just google as it's to much to explain how to do it right now. Basically though Open Etna will give you the update right to 2.2. They say it improves battery life but I'm not too sure about that. It does however give you the ability to use whatever app you want. Let's be honest on this topic too, apps are a huge part of the reason you'd even want a droid phone, so this is a big deal!
To conclude I think that the LG Eve(GW620) is a great phone. Really cheap compared to other Droid phones and still runs great. The camera is exceptional quality(5mp) with flash and video abilities. Just has a couple(solvable) drawbacks. I would definitely suggest getting your hands on one!
