    I bought this book for a friend to read after seeing Sandi Patty at the Women of Faith conference in Dallas. She is from a large family herself and recently married a man with two children and she had four and now they have one together. She had read other books about blending families but she said this one was the best and she wants me to share it with others in the same situation. It gave great advice and its nice to know you aren't the only one in the same circumstances.

    This book is an easy read. It blends practical advice with humorous stories about the blending of very large family. I learned a few things that were very helpful, especially in the issues of step-parents role in "parenting" their step kids. Love Mine Discipline Yours is the best practical chapter.

    I bought this book for a friend that has 2 children and marrying someone with 2 children. It is very candid about blending; offering some good thoughts and ideas of how to handle "situations".
