Movie synopsis
Two Manhattan-based sisters with a considerable age gap between them are the basis for the hit sitcom WHAT I LIKE ABOUT YOU. Valerie (Jennie Garth) is approaching 30 when her father moves to Japan and leaves 16-year-old Holly (Amanda Bynes) in her care. The close confines of Valerie's loft apartment cause plenty of sisterly tension, with the two markedly different girls driving each other crazy as they attempt to make the best out of a bad situation. ) This is a very enjoyable series and this first season did an excellent job of setting up the characters and story line. It is a show that my fifteen year old daughter and I can watch together and equally enjoy, and the main character played by Amanda Bynes is a very realistic, positive role model for girls of my daughters age. Looking forward to the release of the later seasons.

) I love Amanda Byans in all her movies. I like the two sister together. The stories that they tell and the relationship that they have is great and reminds me about my family and my sister. It's a real good series and I can't wait when the next series comes out on dvd so then I buy it. I would recommand the whole series for everyone that love to laugh and enjoy a good sister love connecting.

It made me laugh and was a very entertaining series. It's about a 16 year old girl going to live with her sister when their father gets transferred to Japan.

This show is so funny! I love it! I bought it so I could watch all the episodes in order. The only bad thing is, the first season is the only season of this 4 season show that is on dvd.. but I think I heard somewhere they are thinking of putting the rest on dvd!

I would watch this show when it was on the air, so when I heard season 1 was out I knew I had to get it. You will have many laughs with this DVD, Amanda Bynes is such a goof ball, you will get a kick out of it. I can't wait for season 2 to come out.
