Linkin Park - Frat Party at the Pankake Festival (DVD, 2001)

When you look at the title of this DVD you think its a live DVD. However you will be very surprised. It contains interviews from the Band members the videos from One Step Closer, Crawling, In The End, Papercut, Points Of Authority, and Live Parts of A Place For My Head, plus and excelent version of Cure For The Itch. It gives you a great insight into life inside Linkin Park. It also has some interesting extras like Chester Bennington's Tattoos and what they represent and some audio only tracks like High Voltage and My December. It also goes in great detail about the making of the in the end video. The only negative about this DVD is that although there are quite a few topics in the DVD they don't go in a lot of detail about them.

At first, my sole purpose of getting this video was for the music videos that are on it -> "Papercut", "One Step Closer", "Crawling", "In The End" and some of "Cure for the Itch" and a 'live' version of "Points of Authority". However, after watching the whole video, I found myself laughing and wondering how crazy can these guys get? They are a very talented group of musicians and in this video you get to see what they are like offstage, backstage, and (of course) onstage. The guys talk about how they first got together, give us a tour of their tour bus, and show us some behind the scenes footage from making the video for "Crawling." There's a bunch more to this video, but every Linkin Park fan (or even if you're not a fan) ought to rent or buy it to fully enjoy the experience that is LINKIN PARK: Frat Party at the Pankake Festival.

This is what I believe to be one of there first dvd releases. It takes you through the begining of their career. Awesome video coverage of back stage, concerts, touring on the road, studio, videos. Loaded with music videos, along with audio tracks of lots of our favorite songs. a must have!

This is an excellent video for any Linkin Park fan. Even if you don't like Linkin Park, pick up this video, it's very funny and it will tell you about the band and you will definitely get into them. There is nothing I disliked about it. It was worth every penny and it's a video you will watch over and over again without getting tired of it. I decided to buy it because I heard it was good, and it was. So pick this up for sure.

I love this DVD! But then again, I love Linkin Park.. It was actually a Christmas gift for my boyfriend, but I watched it with him numerous times. The only thing I might have liked better is if it were live rather than videos.
