Linksys WRT160N-RM 270 Mbps 4-Port 10/100 Wireless N Router (LICWRT160NRM)

The WRT160N is a good router.. don't get me wrong. But if you take that mediocre basic Linksys provided firmware off and replace it with DD-WRT, you have created an enterprise class high performance router with features Linksys could have really included.. full support of all kinds options most typical home networks could benefit from.. WDS is just one example.. Adjustable transmit power is another.. Linksys, why didn't you do this?

I love that router. I used several before of this one and ended to give to salvation army. This one has the range and the speed. The range is great, I have a 4000 square feet house and when I am in the further end of the house I still have signal. The signal strength is not "excellent" when I am closer but it says "very good" which is more than I can ask for that price.

This is one of the best routers I have ever used... the set up was simple as 1,2,3... and I bought it brand new for a fraction of the cost I would in a store... bottom line is, if you want a damn good router, that will boost your home network in a second, buy this router.

Very easy setup, and a really fast router. The wireless is much faster than my old router, even when not using the N speed. Worked flawlessly with my computers and even the WII running Netflix HD.

this item has great signal all across my house with full speed and signal power the only down side is wen i configure the network it wanted to force the ip from the internet modem to my full network ( had to do a little workaround to use the ips I've assigned to all my equipment that requires a network connection the control panel helps configure every single detail witch it can be good or bad( depending of your networking knowledge cause it can be a bit confusing)
