The Lion King (Blu-ray/DVD, 2011, 4-Disc Set, Diamond Edition; Includes Digital Copy; 3D/2D)

Since I recently got my blu ray player there are only certain titles I will purchase on blu ray-meaning I can live with DVD

Lion King was one title I knew I would get

Of course-4 disc set BESIDES HAVING A BLU RAY PLAYER YOU HAVE TO HAVE A SPECIAL ONE & SPECIAL CONNECTION TO SEE THE 3D Nope-don’t think so THEN GO BUY GLASSES Nope

Good picture quality on the film of course

Extras-now here is where I have a complaint There are several good extras in this package Some were already in the original DVD release

OK, they gathered the animators to speak with them Good to see BUT, out of the actors we only get to see Broderick & Lane? Excuse me. Where was James Earl Jones, Oscar winners Whoopi Goldberg & Jeremy Irons? Didn’t speak to Elton John? Only 2 of the actors appeared in this package I was very disappointed with this. A let down to fans

Over all except for this 1 problem I was pleased with the package

And, of course anytime I can rewatch my favorite scene/line "What Do You Want Me To Do? Dress In Drag & Do The Hula?"

A Disney classic masterpiece! This movie is a life learning experience that you and your kids will LOVE! Blu ray version is the best you can get. The stunning visuals are amazing and the music is wonderfully catchy. Love,thrills, and chills are guaranteed. Don't pass up this movie!

How can you not love this classic film? The characters are so believable and the story line is one of family and family struggle. It keeps all in the family entertained and glued to the story. The animation is great because it is crisp and sharp. To buy this is a win win for you and the whole family. The kids have already watched this three or four times since I bought it.

This is an absolutely superb version of the classic film. Do not have a 3D television, yet, so cannot comment on that feature. The standard Blu-Ray is gorgeous. The sound is extremely well done. The animation is bright and beautiful. Highly Recommended!!

I have seen Lion King on DVD several years ago.Just bought a 3D Tv and wanted to see in 3D.I think it's great to have the several copies to use in all DVD players. I can't say enough on how great the 3D effects were.Loved the movie,wonderful story.
