Little Monsters

One of my favorite movies growing up.

This movie was on the movie channel during halloween and I decided to sit down and relive the magic. Although the movie wasn't as good as I remembered it, it was still pretty great. I didn't expect to love it as much as I did back then but I was surprised to find that I still enjoyed it as much as I did.

This movie is better suited towards children, but people who grew up with Little Monsters will still enjoy it.

Little Monsters follows Brian (Fred Savage) and Maurice (Howie Mandel) as they go underground to a secret monster world in search of Brians younger brother (Ben Savage) who has been kidnapped by monsters.

The Savage brothers are great as the typical cute-kids and Howie Mandel is superb as the energetic Maurice.

This movie is a great blast from the past, and if you grew up watching Little Monsters you'll still enjoy it. And if you have children under 10 they'll absolutely love this movie.

For anyone who was around in the 80's and enjoyed movies such as 'The princess bride' or 'The Wizard' (Both also starring Fred Savage.) I'm sure this one will also be at the top of your list of Fav's. Also starring Maurice (Howie Mandel) as a wacky, crazy monster who travels to this world from under the bed and befriends Brian (Fred Savage). Together getting into all kinds of hilarious and sometimes gross hijinks. This movie was an instant classic as well as an instant personal favorite of mine. I can not possibly recomend this movie enough. I was glad to have found it on online as I have never seen it sold in stores.

I liked everything about this movie except the ending. Was Brian to old that he would never see Maurice any more? It never told wether he would or not. There should have been a part 2 to this movie. I bought this movie because of who was in it and just reading what it was about. Sometimes you wonder if your kids really did the things that go on in the house or maybe they are telling the truth when they say "I saw a MONSTER in my room". THIS MOVIE GETS A 5 STAR RATING IN MY BOOK. STEVE H ELKHART, IND.

I love this movie because when I was little, I always thought that there were monsters under my bed and in my closet. I love Howie in this movie, he is such a great actor. Now my kids are all grown up and I am giving my 22 year old daughter this movie for Christmas! She remembers watching it when she was little and hasn't seen it since. Merry Christmas!

My children watched this movie when they were young and loved it. My 4 year old grandaugher seen it on a T.V. pay channel and her dad remembering the movie himself let her watch it and she was hooked. I bought it for her for christmas to save her dad some money!!!. The movie is about this boy who catches the monster that lives under his bed. They become freinds and explore the under the bed monster world. I think this movie helps children lose their fear of monsters inder the bed. Movie should be veiw 1st time with an adult.
