Littlest Pet Shop (Wii, 2008)

Great Wii game!!! Every family should have it!! The pets are so life like & keeps the family entertained for hours. Good clean fun. Our favorite character is the Bunny. You can have the characters(pets) walk all over & go to all the shops. Our friends love it, too. As a mom, I really enjoy knowing that my family is playing a good clean fun video Wii game and not a violent game. The child really has to use his or her mind with this Wii game. Good exercise, too.

I bought this for my 5 yr old DD. We got a Wii for Christmas and she was getting frustrated not being able to play the games that really weren't age appropriate for her. So I was looking for a game she could do on her own for the most part. While this game does have some reading to do and if your child isn't quite there yet you'll have to read for them... if you need or want to step away and let them play on their own there is plenty for them to do. She can play all the games by herself. I liked that it has several mini games rather than one big game to complete. She was thrilled every time it was time to adopt a new pet. There are four world to put your pets into and they are each very different from each other and you can go back and forth from the worlds as you please. Earning kibble (money) for train tickets for your pets is very easy. Some games are harder than others but keeps the game from being too boring. Perfect game for smaller kids, but would entertain older girls as well... Mom's too :)

My 11 year old daughter absolutely LOVES this game!! I wasn't overly sure since I didn't hear many reviews before Christmas. She LOVES littlest pet shop toys and begged for this game for Christmas. She earns "kibbles" which are like money to buy new pets and accessories for the pets. She has to keep the pets happy and healthy. She has played this a TON since Christmas and not lost interest at all. I was surprised about that since I thought this would get boring, but to be honest she hasn't lost any interest at all like I thought. She has gotten over 20 pets and I believe there are over 30. They are all very cute and seem to keep her attention for quite some time. This is her favorite of all the wii games we got. I don't think 2 of the other reviews are fair to the Littlest Pet Shop game since this review has nothing to do with the seller or getting free stuff. Hope this helps~

The graphics of this game are adorable. It requires a bit of reading which was frustrating for my 4 year old but once all pets are acquired, she can play by herself. Some of the arcade games are easy for her but others are a bit difficult and I had to help her. She loves dressing up the pets and playing on the slides, swings, etc. Great game probably for 5 and older!

i was just as interested in this game as my 4 year old daughter. alot of fun, and right at her skill level. the kids can even play with all of the pets they have collected after the game has been 'beat'.
the only downfall, i thought, was that you had to read your next "mission" , the game is gauged toward most kids who cant read yet, it might have been helpful to have an option where the kid could hear instructions.
