Album Notes
This is a Hyper CD, which contains regular audio tracks and also provides a link to the artist's website with the help of a web browser. This edition also comes with a pull-out, 2-sided poster.AC/DC: Brian Johnson (vocals); Angus Young, Malcolm Young (guitar); Cliff Williams (bass); Chris Slade (drums). All tracks were recorded during AC/DC's 1990-1991 world tour. Originally released as Atco (92212). The 2003 edition of AC/DC LIVE includes liner notes by Don Kaye. All tracks have been digitally remastered.Personnel: Brian Johnson (vocals); Malcolm Young, Angus Young (guitar); Cliff Williams (bass guitar); Chris Slade (drums).Audio Mixer: Ken Lomas.Recording information: World Tour (1990-1991).Photographer: Scott Weiner.AC/DC reclaimed its status as gutbucket rock n' rollers to be reckoned with on this searing double-disc live set. The year was 1992, more than 15 years after the group's first recording. By this point, the band was approaching middle age, a time when most rockers settle into the lazy comfort of their genres. From the opening guitar shards of "Thunderstruck," it is clear no such concessions have been made. The bass drum falls in, not so much a timekeeper as an underground detonation device, and the repeated cries of "thunder!" gain volume like an approaching army. The difference being that this is an army with one mission and one mission only: to knock the lights out of anyone within earshot. The album succeeds not only because the exuberant pounding the band gives to the familiar "Back in Black," "Highway to Hell," "Shoot to Thrill" and "Who Made Who," but also because of the equal pulverizing of older Bon Scott era numbers such as "Sin City" and "High Voltage." Vocalist Brian Johnson, in particular, injects some his best screeches in years.

ACDC live in Concert

Created: 11/01/10
I saw this CD on there and that the bid was low,and I liked the songs that were on here. The CD didn't come in a jewel case but only in a white CD envelope. No prob,I wanted to listen to music not look at pictures.I'm already familiar with AC/DC anyway.I was a teenager when "Back in Black" came out.I saw'em in concert at Market Square Arena in Indianapolis in 1980.They kicked ass back then, and they kick ass on this CD.Song after song on here is as crisp and sharp as can be,just like a razor's edge.I personally think AC/DC may be one of the greatest rock and roll acts of ALL TIME.I don't care much for the "devil" or "hell" lyrics,I take it as it is all meant in fun anyway,in a rock and roll sort of way. They are so good at what they do,it just blows you away. After all these years I really appreciate the blues oriented style of guitarist Angus Young, and the how tight the band is together. There are no ballads with AC/DC.Just high energy rock and roll. The closest you'll get to a love song on here is "She's got The Jack",or "You Shook Me all Night Long".I'd say this is one of the finest live recordings of music I've ever heard.2 Thumbs Up!!!

Terrific Live AC/ DC cd

Created: 03/01/07
Last week I purchased the 1992 live cd from AC/DC (Razor's Edge Tour). From top to bottom the selection of songs on the cd was great. Covering albums like "For Those About To Rock", "Dirty Deeds", "Highway To Hell", "Back In Black" and "Razor's Edge" made it the perfect cd for the hardcore AC/DC fan. It was a remastered version which made the clarity above average as far as live albums go. Brian Johnson does an A+ job singing the older songs that were originally recorded by Bon Scott. If your a fan of AC/DC I highly recommend this cd. You wont be dissapointed !

I am 44 years old, My opinion AC/DC is the best Classic Rock Band ever. The "Live Version" is not as good as regular recordings, though it still rocks.
