Movie synopsis
Harry Connick Jr. leads an all-star cast as Dr. Dennis Slamon, a brilliant oncologist whose development of a breakthrough treatment for breast cancer is cut short by a lack of financing. But when Slamon finds a couple of powerful supporters in big-hearted philanthropists Lilly Tartikoff (LAW AND ORDER’s Angie Harmon) and Ron Perelman (Joe Nemmers), he is once again free to continue his research to the full. Unfortunately, a caveat for his new miracle cure may be waiting just around the corner. Co-stars Swoosie Kurtz, Regina Hall, Amanda Bynes, Amy Madigan, Jennifer Coolidge, and Bernadette Peters give stunning performances in this harrowing true story.

) The fight this doctor had to go thru to save woman from breast cancer.Goes to show drug companies do not want a cure for cancer.
Everyone Should watch This!

) Excellent movie based on a true story of a break through for breast cancer. I recommend that every man and especially women should watch this. My wife and I watch this together and not only did we learn a few things that happens in the field of research we learn that there is hope for women who would have this cancer. Warning: No dry eyes here. A very emotional true story.

Its a wonderful movie. I watched this movie with my husband, we were both brought to tears.

It came in record breaking time. I have not yet viewed it but plan to this weekend. The movie from what I'm told is how this doctor discovered "Herceptin" (another form of chemotherapy) a Breast Cancer drug of which I have taken for my Breast Cancer of which I am still fighting. Thank U!
