The Still Wonderful Second Season
Created: 28/01/09
The second season of the wonderful mid-90s series Lois & Clark (the New Adventures of Superman) is only slightly less fresh and new than the first season. This dvd set includes 22 episodes from the second year and 2 featurettes (Lois & Clark: Secrets of Season 2 and Marketing Metropolis: The Fans of Lois and Clark) for a whopping total of 1013 minutes of feel good entertainment. This season has some new faces. Justin Whalin is the new Jimmy Olsen (still not a freckle-faced redhead as in the comics) and Farrah Forke is Assistant DA Mayson Drake, a rival to Lois for Clark’s affections. Episodes include: Madame Ex, Wall of Sound, The Prankster, Return of the Prankster, Metallo, Tempus Fugitive, and Target: Jimmy Olsen! Lex Luthor returns from the dead in The Phoenix and in Top Copy Raquel Welch does a strident turn as a tv journalist who seeks to expose Clark Kent as Superman.

Lois and Clark is a must have for fans!

The popular Lois and Clark series is now available on DVD! This TV series recounts some of the original adventures of Superman, and a lot of new ones. The adventure and humor are just dripping from each epiode, as well as great character development for all the main characters.
I have some misgivings about the special effects, but when you consider it was a mid-90's television show, it's perfectly acceptable, even desirable- as well as adding to the cheesy humor. It's definitely not a serious drama series, but it has some of the most important drama that will appeal to the ladies: romance between Lois and Clark (not prevalent in season one).
It's enjoyable to watch and if you like the series, it's definitely purchase to consider.

Lois & Clark Second Season is a home run
Created: 06/08/06
Lois & Clark the second season begins where season 1 left off. Lois and Clark are just beginning to realize the importance they hold for each other, but their romance begins rocky. Lois has 3 guys vying for her, Clark being 2 of them. Lex Luthor also returns in this continuing season, but not in the way most expected. Lex comes within a hairs breadth of dying when he jumps off the building in the 1st season. Metropolis believes Lex to be dead only to discover that one of the many women in love with Lex put his body in cryostasis and is slowly nursing him back to the land of the living. This season is full of suspense and romance and good clean fun. I give it a 5 of 5.

Coming into their own

Now that Lex is presumed dead, Lois & Clark can get back to work fighting more innovative bad guys & gals and developing a friendship together. Jimmy Olson is now a copy boy played by a new actor and Cat, the society columnist, has taken a job elsewhere. Lois Lane is in love with Superman but ignores Clark. This gradually changes through a brilliant blending of fighting bad guys while the experiences inadvertently teach her lessons on love. By mid-season they have a first date. By the end of season 2, she confesses her love for Clark and he proposes in a cliff-hanger ending to be continued in Season 3.

Great, plays like new

I like the price I paid for it, while I'm a huge Superman fan, Lois & Clark wasn't the be all and end all of series (though I watched it every episode). I wouldn't go out of my way to buy it new. So I took a chance and bought a used copy and it worked out fine. Except the case is slightly damaged. The first disc holder is damaged and will not hold the disc. But all in all, I liked the purchase
