Product Information
Electronic Arts released one of its biggest movie-to-videogame conversions during the holiday season of 2002 with The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers for GameCube, PlayStation 2, and Xbox. Taking players on an epic quest, based on the modern cinema trilogy directed by Peter Jackson, The Two Towers delivers intense, large-scale action with tons of swordplay and all the trimmings of learning through experience. The more than 12 levels are directly taken from scenarios and events that appeared in the first two first films and EA added a smattering of bonus content on top of it, including interviews with all the principal actors, stills, trailers, and more.

This game puts you right in the heat of battle. Recreates the battle scenes from the movies and it makes you feel and looks like you're in the movies itself. Pick from Legolas, Aragorn, and Gimli and take on the armies of Mordor and Isengard and enjoy this intense battle action game.

Good game, but not backwards compatible w/ 360

Great hack n' slash adventure for xbox, however, it's not playable on xbox360. This game was the first of two hack n slash-styled movie-based games, and it was a blast to play. Hopefully microsoft will release yet another backwards-compatibility patch so it becomes playable.

This is Not a bad Movie based game

Created: 07/05/07
This game is not all that bad for a movie based game. This game a good grafics some excellent action and it is Lord of the Rings. The game follows pretty closely the events of the movie with some minor tweaks. The fighting is top notch for a game like this. This has some pretty heavy fighting with lots of foes in one screen shot so you never run out of action for each level. Take a chance with this one it is a sleeper game not many know about. I give this game an A-.

Great Game, Lots of Fun

Created: 04/08/08
I love that you start with the Fellowship of the Ring and move right on through to the Battle of Helm's Deep. Absolutely fantastic game, especially since you can play each level with Aragon, Legolas, and Gimli. Highly recommended!

The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (Xbox)

Created: 12/02/08
the game is pretty short. there is only a few levels. but it is fun to upgrade your character. the game could have been more in depth with the movie but you play through a synopsis basically. Overall it is a decent time waster specially for the cheap price.
