    Movie synopsis

One of the better vampire films about two new-in-town brothers who discover a local gang of motorcycle youths are more undead than alive. Younger brother Sam (Corey Haim) works hard to eradicate the ghoulies but his older brother (Jason Patric) falls in love with the bunch's lone female (Jami Gertz). Soon, he finds that he's gradually becoming a vampire himself. An interesting candy-coated meditation on teen conformity with a great rock soundtrack.

The Lost Boys is one of the best vampire movie ever made! Blade comes second, but sorry this film is classic vampire horror material. This is actually my favorite horror genre movie. Kiefer Sutherland is the man! No one else would have played the part of David any better! This movie was filmed in Santa Cruz California(Santa Carla in the movie),(I was on the beach when they were making this movie and my friends and I were kicked off the beach so they could do the filming...little did I know at the time that this would become one of my favorite movies of all time), so it makes it that much better. What a perfect town for vampire infiltration. Weird people and great sights... that works for me. Michael, played by Jason Patric, and his younger brother Sam move into their grandpa’s place in Santa Clara along with their mother. Michael and Sam soon find out that “Santa Carla is crawling with vampires.” I won’t tell you anymore of the story because you have watch it. Actually if you haven’t seen this movie then you should. My favorite scene is when all the vampire buddies hang off a bridge in the middle of a very foggy night for no reason. All I gotta say is… classic scene! The ending of this film is beautiful and all the characters are top notch. The Frog brothers are stellar and have great one liners. As said by Sam “you’re a God damn, s**t sucking vampire”.
What else can I say it has Keifer Sutherland in it.

I watched this a long time ago and loved it..we recently came across this dvd and had to have it..the cast was perfect filled with great acting thrills and chills this movie gets your blood pumping and sets your giggles free..Corey Feldman is cute in this film as is Corey Haim..one of Keifer Sutherlands best movies Daddy Donald would have been perfect in this film as well..if you love "The Covenant" you'll love this movie too and vice versa..movie opens with newly divorced, desititute and lonely Diane Weist and her two sons Corey Haim and Jason Patric moving back to Mommys' hometown to live with GrandPa..Corey Haim meets two Brothers funny enough their names are Edgar and Allen..they are self proclaimed Vampire Hunters..they warn Corey about the necknippers he at first laughs at them, but when his big Brother played by Jason Patric becomes one that's when the fun begins...A great movie for the enitre Family..might wanna put the little Kiddies to bed first though! 5 stars all the way!

This vampire movie is definitely one for the collection. Mom and 2 boys moves to California to move in with kids' grandfather. Kids run into strange people. Oldest becomes entangled with vampire group and is turned. Youngest brother meets two other young boys claiming to be vamp killers. Vampire movie with a twist and comedy but with serious parts. Very, very good movie!

This is one of my favorite vampire movies...done with some scary parts, as well as times of laughter. And, it has a lot of well-known stars in it...both Corey Haim and Corey Feldman; Jason Patrick, Kiefer Sutherland; Jamie Gertz; and others.

It was the best movie of vampires. WOW it was the best and it is my favorite movie. I watched it when I was young and my friends and I were talking about what movies our favorites were and somehow I remembered the movie and I love that movie and I have to have one so I bought it on e bay. That movie is the best vampire movie I ever seen!! I was hoping there is another part of that movie one day like The Lost Boys II would be great if possible.
