Lost: Via Domus (Sony Playstation 3, 2008)

I bought this PS3 game for two reasons. First of all, I love the TV series LOST! Secondly, this game was CHEAP. You should never have to pay more than about $15-$20 (including shipping) for this game new, usually less! That being said, this game is still not the most exciting game out there. The graphics are fine. The fact that all of the original actors voice their own characters is nice. The gameplay, however, is so-so.

For a role-playing game (of sorts) the controls are a little clunky and not as smooth as one would hope. This is certainly NOT an action game. You walk around the island, perform small tasks, find people and clues, and you decide what questions to ask them. In summary, if you are a fan of LOST you will love the fact that it immerses you in the story to the point where you feel like you are in the show. However, the game only covers about the first two seasons or so, so it is somewhat limited compared to what we know now all the way through the sixth season! Also, if you are looking to actually "play" the game, you will probably get tired of it quickly, and move on to something else!

Description
As a passenger of Oceanic flight 815, you survived the crash and find yourself on an uncharted island somewhere in the Pacific Ocean. As you begin to unravel mysteries of the island, you begin to discover secrets of your own. You will have to understand your past mistakes in order to survive and find your way home... EXCELLENT GAME - Perfect for any "LOST" Series Lover! Graphics are superb and the adventures and challenges are LIMITLESS! This is the VERY FIRST game I purchased for my new PS3, and I don't think I will need to buy another game for quite some time. This one keeps me challenged and intrigued with new adventures around every turn. I have always enjoyed the more strategic games or puzzles instead of the shooting games, and this is the best one yet. I LOVE IT!! The characters from the "LOST" Series that interact seem so real, and they even sound just like the actual characters from the Show. The island adventures and challenges also follow the SERIES events closely, and perhaps even give some insight to the next season (I hope). Such a Mysterious Island Adventure!

This is not the greatest games ever... If you like LOST on TV it will help you like the game. The graphics are not phenomenal, just good and the puzzles are not the brightest one either (at least to the point I'm at in the game). Overall it's good to pass time. I get more excited to play the game just to find out what comes next, just like when I'm watching the TV series. My rating is Average because that's all I can say about this game. Not too exciting but not all frustrating...

This is a game for those who enjoy the series LOST. Particulary I do...
It is not like those shooting games, that all the time you have to be shooting with your PS3 controller, what in my opinion is sucks... I can´t do it.
A game where you live a story of a photographer who crashed on the island and need to remember about his life...
The cool in the game is also the fact that every one on the island interacto with you...
As a matter of fact, if you like to watch LOST on TV you will like to play the game...
