Yoga & Pilates by Louise Solomon is truly the BEST!!!

If your into pilates and or yoga then you will love the combination Louise Solomon has to offer in this great work out CD, along with her other ones which I have. Ofcourse I do not recommend this for people who have a weak back or any major injuries or if they are pregnant cause the work outs can be intense at times. Although there are alternate positions to make it easier on beginners it can still get a little intense. As time passes the positions get easier. I am a person who likes a good work out to relieve stress but nothing too strenuous. That is why I like this CD because Yoga and Pilates can deliver me a good relaxing work out and the results are truly amazing. The mental tranquility is astounding too. I look forward to any other work outs Louise Solomon has to offer. So yes, I rate this review I was asked to do on this CD as EXCELLENT (if there was a higher scale I would rate it as high as it would go) because this is something that will last me the rest of my life and I have the rest of my life to look forward to =) This CD teaches me how to do that. Thank you to Louise Solomon as well for being a great teacher.

I did not like this at all, no music, silly positions.

I thought that this DVD would be the perfect blend of yoga and pilaties. It was not. The instructor was so annoying I could not get through the first excersize, and it did nothing for me as far as a workout. I could not even tell that I had been doing anything for the first 20 minutes.

Louise Solomon's Yoga & Pilates Vol. 2 DVD

This DVD seems very outdated. Good for a beginner, but if you have ever done Yoga b4 this will not challenge your body very much. I purchased it to add Pilates to my normal routine, but it was not worth my purchase.

So far I have only tried the "advanced" workout on this DVD and didn't come anywhere close to breaking a sweat --and I would not consider myself advanced at either yoga or pilates. The workout consisted of a lot of streching and breathing. The advanced routine is only about 24 minutes, so it's great if you're pressed for time.

Really good for beginers with some more advanced moves. Nothing is over extended or a moving potition in this dvd, also there are no combinations to follow so its good to keep up with. I did notice they don't show much of the modified person working out much.
