I bought this for my son, who recently ended a 7 year relationship (not his choice!!) because I absolutely LOVE Dr. Phil, and find that his books are written in a plain english, common sense way that EVERYONE can easily understand. I have several other books of his and found them to give me new insight into my own life and what I was looking for, so I thought this might help my son take a long intorspective look into himself and realize that he IS a good person with or without her, and that he still matters to many of us!!! He says he is getting alot out of it, and is easily changing his attitude about himself and understanding that he was NOT the only person who made mistakes. (It takes TWO to tango!!!!!) Then I just had to get a copy for myself!!! Thank You again Dr. Phil!!!!!!!!!!!

Dr. Phil's common sense approach to life makes you want to smack your head and say, "Why didn't I think of that?" This book helps you evaluate past and present relationships, the role each person plays, the difference between men & women's feelings, and how to have a fulfilling relationship. I strongly recommend this book if you are ending a longtime relationship or thinking about starting a new one. You will find your own behaviors/reactions in this book and realize how they may effect others. It will be a real eye-opener.

This book is an easy read in a very reader-friendly format. Though a longtime Dr. Phil fan, this was the first book I purchased for myself. After reading the book, I was finally able to own my part in my failed marriage of 30 years. I am now at peace with how things turned out amd hope I don't make the same mistakes again.

Reading this book is like a visit with a common-sense smart friend and easier than goingh to some support groups! Enjoy.

This book gives you a foundation to healing past relationship problems before you make a mistake and get into another bad realtionship. It takes time and effort to look at yourself to do the work but well worth the effort.

Dr. Phil tells you how it is and if you don't like the truth or you are not willing to do the work, don't buy his books! Not being your authentic self and wearing a mask may land you a guy, but it will not keep your guy! Get smart and Love Smart by doing the work on yourself in order to avoid the heartbreak of a broken relationship.

Know what you want and what you don't want by doing the self inventory and what you want to atract in the perfect mate. He helps you make decisions on how to avoid the men that will not be marriage material. It all starts with you and your decisions and choices.

Start working on the rest of you life by getting this book and cleaning up you! Whether this book is to find you your Lovemate or to heal the last one you had or just to be a woman that men find attractive, if you really do the work, you can have what you want.

Dr. Phil uses humor and honesty in his books and I am impressed with how he tells you how it is. Start the rest of you Love life with this book.

I'm a Dr. Phil fan, and I was really surprised with this book. It was even better than I thought it would be. He goes into great detail to tell you what you are doing wrong, help you to make the right decisions and walk you through it step by step. I enjoyed reading the book! It was actually funny too, in some parts. If you are a single woman you can relate to almost all the topics that he talks about. Its a great book even if you are married also. I would definetly recommend!
