This is the 3rd one that I have bought. I was saved on May 23, 2004. I bought every kind of Bible I could get my hands on to try to understand what had and was happening to me. Then I found my first copy. The best thing about this version of the Bible is that (1) this is a very strong Reformed Bible, and is a Revised King James Version (RKJV) without any of the baggage that some of the newer versions have added to the faith once and forever delivered. (2) While I really enjoy the KJV for its poetry, the RKJV is easier to understand. For me, it is important to understand the context in which the scripture is written, and this study Bible does the best job of any I have found that is portable. MacArthur's commentaries are well written and easy to read. I highly recommend this study Bible for any Christian, new found or otherwise. This is my third, I keep one at home, one at work, and the other was given to a newfound Christian to help her on her way. If I find another newfound Christian, I will gladly give them my new copy and buy another.
The only negative is that it is heavy. But then, I do not know what I would cut out to make it lighter. That being the only major aspect, I would keep it just as it is.

) The Macarthur study bible makes understanding the bible so much easier. I often wondered what was meant by many of the verses I read.....now I know. I t takes the guess work out of bible interpretation.

Cant give a rotten review on God now could I? I bought this because of the situation of the world. Are we in the End Times? Its worth every penny.
