) I purchased this Bible as a gift for my wife. I have also purchased one for myself. John MacArthur is very good at teaching the Word and this Bible is no exception. The commentaries are great, factual and understandable. This is a wonderful teaching Bible and I would recommend it to anyone to use along side their other Bible or alone. It would make a wonderful gift for a new Christian or for anyone wanting to further their knowledge in the Word.

This bible is a regular study bible. I enjoy Macarthur so it was a much needed tool. There are excellent descriptions and the Holy Spirit is not crushed in details.

The font is not as large as I had hoped. The words of Christ are not in red. It is a nice Bible but but not what I needed.

) The print on the book is light and difficult to read. Just not as reading friendly as I hoped it would be given I asked for and got the large print. But light printing pretty much ruined that, sorry to say! So all in all I am disappointed to say the least!
