There are a total of seven seasons of Macgyver.

In season one we see guest appearances by "Robert Englund and the introduction of Penny Parker, played by actress "Teri Hatcher".

This seasons stories are mostly exciting and you look forward to seeing the next episode.

MacGyver-ness:
This season is MacGyver at his best. There are a lot of interesting and detailed inventions that he uses.

Events:
Watch as MacGyver and Pete first meet and watch there relationship grow.
Learn a little about Macgyvers teacher and why he is interested in physics.

Dvd film quality:
Poor, but still viewable.
Low quality film. Over the air television has better quality.
This season is not digitally remastered.

I bought this product because I remember watching the original series years ago. The quality of the DVD set is excellent. It really brings back good memories of years gone by. Also, some guest stars have become famous. What a great idea to put these in seasonal sets. I plan to get all of them, one season at the time. It is good, clean fun, action packed, and great for the entire family to watch. You won't be disappointed at all, and your kids will love them.

I always enjoyed Mac Gyver when it was a series on television. Richard Dean Anderson is so cute in this role. I purchase alot of boxed set DVDs mainly because the price is right but also because there are no commercial breaks. Everyone at my house will sit and watch them for hours because there are no commercials. There is nothing I don't like about the MacGyver series and I decided to buy it because it is one of my favorites. Thanks

We used to watch this series and decided it would be great to see it again. Richard Dean Anderson (Stargate SG-1) is GREAT in this series. Lots of action and adventure, and MacGyver can make things with common items to get himself (and usually someone else) out of a difficult situation.

Some characters repeat in different episodes, so you get to know them as well. Fun to watch, and interesting story lines.

We have also purchased Season 2.

This show is the best of the best in it's time. What wonderful wholesome family movies. Even the action in each show is not too violent for the younger kids. I have always loved the show because it is clean and NO CUSSING. This takes us back to when TV did have good family shows on TV and that made sense. This is the most wonderful collection of DVD's that I own.
