) This book is a must for the model railroader. It is full of tips and tricks to keep engines, rolling stock, and track working as it should work. There are guides on coupler and wheel maintenance that guide you towards the 'perfect' train consist the does what you want without playing wrecker crew all over the layout. The section on setting up equipment for the first time is worth the cost of the book itself. I found this book to be a great guide and worth twice the price. I would recommend this book for everyone from the novice to the expert, a true value to have on your book shelf. The only thing to dislike is that it took so long for me to find it.

) A must have for all model railroaders. It explains how to repair many minor as well as major problems. Things that I thought were junk are now being used on my layout because I fixed them myself!
