A Book everyone needs

Making Polymer Clay Beads Book by Carol Blackburn is a necessity for polymer clay artist. Here I thought I knew just about everything there was to know about making beads, then I bought this book. Now I feel I know everything about making beads. The detail explanation and graphic pictures are wonderful. The selection of styles, methods and even the process of making all of these beads is wonderful. I feel this book rates better than any other books out there on making polymer clay beads, the variety is the largest I've ever seen. This is a must have.

Polymer clay beads made easy
Created: 13/12/07
I purchased this book after getting bitten by the clay bug. I love making anything with this new polymer clay product that has hit the market over the last several years. This book has a lot of really great patterns in it for bead making. It has designs of all kinds, colors, and shapes. The instructions are very easy to understand and the lay out of each pattern makes it easy to read and actually makes it easy to create the bead in the pattern. I have made several of the beads in this book and being just a beginner, had no trouble in creating any of them. I would recommend this book to anybody who has an interest in bead making. This book helps you to make your own beads and then if you want to go a step furthur, make your own jewerly from the beads that tyou just created.

Best bead recipes!

wonderful projects & excellent recipes for all the things you can do with polymer clay. I like making beads, which I then use to create beautiful jewelry that I sell to benefit the Alzheimer's Association

I really like and recommend this book. The author has provided great tutorials, with step by step instructuons. The section on creating faux materials is excellent. I have made faux amber, faux ivory, and faux agate. I have also followed her instructions for Mokume Gane. The instructions are easy to read and the results are beautiful.

A brilliant book, from basics to advanced techniques. Very clear instructions and lots of step by step illustrations. If you want to make polymer clay beads, this is a "must have" book whether you are a beginner or experienced polymer clay beader. Now that I have this book, I'm ditching the rest of my polymer clay beading books.
