) I bought this lens for my Mamiya Medium Format Digital Camera. It is a manual focus lens, but I am interested in the aperture, which is the best in a 150mm medium format lens, and the auto-focus is not as brought as this one. Excellent for portrait photography, at 2.8 the depth of field is so narrow that all the background looks great. An amazing quality lens, the color it delivers is fantastic with good contrast and no apparent distortion.

Mamiya got it right with their 150mm f2.8 lenses, especially the later ones with the ELD glass. This lens is not autofocus, it must be stopped down manually to your desired f stop, but it cost a tenth of the newer AF model. A tenth!
The 150mm 2.8 Is a great portrait lens.

) Haven't had a chance too use the lens. Purchased it based on it's reputation which is very good. Anticipate good results with it.
