Product Information
Getting Up: Contents Under Pressure combines combat, action, adventure and stealth as the main character, Trane, sets out to prove that he's the best graffiti artist around. It's really not that easy, however, as the game features something called, "Get In, Get Up, and Get Out". Gamers will need to use stealth in order to "get in" to restricted areas, dexterity and agility in order to scale tall objects to "get up", and the ability to think on your feet as you run from the powers that be in order to "get out". The city of New Radius is a living character in Getting Up: Contents Under Pressure; it sets the tone and offers the thematic boundaries that oppress Trane from the opening cinematic to the dramatic conclusion.

Too much to remember

This game was great for what it was, such as the graphics, sound, and the different tag styles. The missions are different, most consist of tagging certain areas to be known and grow your reputation as a graffiti artist. Most enemies you deal with consist of being in stealth mode as much as possible but don't worry,if you are spotted you can do some quick "ghetto"karate on you enemies. Now for the gameplay, which I would like to call way to confusing and too much to remember. For example, the fighting skills are way to much, sure you can do the 3 hit combo which is not at all hard,it's the grappling attacks that suck. You have to push two buttons at the same time to hold an enemy then,if you want to punch, kick,or even throw them you have to rapidly press the button and move your analog stick really fast.I found that a waste of time because they usually break out of it anyways. Also, you might find yourself stuck on certain levels due to the position of the camera which sucks. There was a level where you ride a subway train and you have to tag all the carts in a certain amount of time while dodging obstacles. It took me about a half and hour to get it down packed because the angle of the camera was crappy and not only that, but usually when the camera focuses a different way you can move the character in the way that its focused as.Not this game, you have to remember up is up and down is down if you forget that you can have a hard time before you master the controls. Also what I didn't like was all the items you had there was just way too much to remember you have your paint of course but you also have your stencils, posters.stickers, and other misc. items which really aren't all that important. At times it would ask me if I would like to start the new mission without loading my what's called a "black book" and believe me I would rather start the mission instead of going through pages and pages of which tag style or which sticker I would like to use. It's just a waste of time loading and remembering all the items you have.Other than that it's just an average game with a great story line,oh and the voices in the game are great, even when you're fighting they have alot to say.

Great game my sons have not stopped playing it. This game brings the art of tagging into your living room. It also has the real life effects of trying to tag other taggers areas.
