Product Information
Take on the challenges of the links with MARIO GOLF. Choose from 10 different characters including Mario, Luigi, and Wario, and hit one of four courses. Learn the controls and hit some balls in the Practice mode, and when you are ready for some competition, play a round of Match or Stroke play. For tough competition, try to win a Tournament, and for the ultimate challenge, join the Mario Club. In this mode you start out as a student. Eventually, you will be able to work your way through the professional ranks and become the world's best golfer. Use a link-cable to challenge a friend to a round in the Versus mode. As an added bonus, the cartridge can save the 20 best shots in the game. Play MARIO GOLF, and put the action of the links into the palm of you hand.

Too much fun

Created: 19/12/08
Be wary of this game, it is just too much fun. I can't seem to put it down. I am a golfer and am amazed at how a game with such simple controls can be so true to form. Allows for top and backspin as well as condition of lie, draw and fade shots. My 8 year old is having fun with it too, although taking time to perfect his shots.

I have bought another to try the gameboy color link. Head to head matches sound pretty fun.

If you see this game available, I'd strongly recommend it.

The game is ok. Takes a bit to get use to. For those that don't get golf it might take a bit longer to understand what clubs to use for certain distances and it gets frustrating. Other than that its a pretty good game.

Mario Golf for Game Boy Color

Created: 04/07/07
I had just picked up a Game Boy Color and wanted to find a game to play on it. So since I recently took up golf, I thought I would try this game. For a handheld game, I was impressed. It gives you wind to account for and overall a lot of game for the buck. The only weak point of the game I think is putting. They are hard to line up and get a feel for how hard to hit the ball. The games color is good and the sounds help in playing the game. Overall Mario Golf was well worth it.

ADDICTIVE

Created: 08/01/07
I got this game because there are 6 golfers that are on this game which transfer over to Mario Golf on Nintendo 64! So, I had no expectations. This game won me over with it's story line and the way it makes one learn golf. It teaches fades, chips, long drives and so on. Hours go past and I was still playing. I then transfered over the golfers to Mario Golf on 64 and won the 36 medals per golfer there!

This game is fun to play, a little hard to get use to but is fun after getting use to the game and controlls.
