Product Information
The fourth installment of the wildly selling four-player party game walks the same path that the previous titles did, banking on the power of 50 totally new mini-games and vastly improved graphics to do the selling. Four people trek their way around an interactive game board and indulge in a wide variety of mini-games after each turn. Instead of points, you earn coins, which allow you to buy stars if you land on the correct space. The player with the most stars and coins wins. As for the very important mini-game challenges, they range from free-for-alls, to 1v3, to 2v2 matches. There are five totally new game boards available from the get-go, ranging from haunted Boo-themed environments to the tropical Koopa's Seaside Soiree.

Great game for kids 5 to 75 years

    Created: 03/02/07
This game cube game was a hit! My grandkids and I have truly had a lot of fun playing it. It was a Christmas gift for the 5 year old and is just right for that age level. It is interesting and challenging enough for 8 year old and is not too difficult for this old grandma. You can play it alone or with others. The animation is super and not monotonous. The kids especially like the animation when they give you the "presents" in the story mode which is for a single player. The board mode is like a board game with different challenges where you pick up stars and points, the winner being the one with most points and stars. The grandkids have other Mario games they love and this one didn't disappoint. I hear lots of whoops and hollers while they're playing. They haven't tired of it yet. As a grandparent, I like it because it's good clean fun! Well worth the money!

THIS IS A SEQUEL... YET A VERY GOOD ONE!

     | Yes, I would recommend this product to a friend.

Lemme tell you something, many, MANY sequels are lame, but this is one exception! With over 50 new mini games, 5 boards, many unlockables (more like achievements), extra games and a fun story mode, Mario Party 4 is such a nice sequel I would suggest you to get a copy if you have a chance.

Still think it isnt enough? Well gather some friends and let the party started, if you consider playing Mario Party alone is fun, play with your friends or family to make your experience even better.

With all new board items and spaces, variables are almost infinite! Meaning, you'll never play the same way twice (well that was kinda obvios).

My point is, that if you are a Mario Party fan, TRY to get both 4 and 5. Those are in my opinion, the best. Unlike the new Mario Parties, (8 or 9), which change or repeat things alot and it doesnt feel like a Mario Party anymore (consider its hard to have 8 sequels of the same game).

When I play alone, I prefer playing games made to be for 1, but whenever I get visits, Mario Party (especially 4 or 5) is never out of consideration.

So the reason for not buying it is if you enjoy 1 player games more and would like to spend that money on one of those games. But I think it would be nice to have one copy of this great game just in case you want to play with someone, or actually like playing against 3 CPUs on maximum difficulty.

Around 10-25 dollars a copy in good-like new conditions, at least think of it.

Mario Party 4 IS A Game You Must Get!

    Created: 17/07/06
Mario Party 4 is an amazing game where you must earn your birthday presents. Yes, the boards aren't in 3-D like the other gamecube mario party games are, but that makes it uniqe. There also aren't as many characters to choose from, but you can choose DK, who isn't in the other gamecube mario parties except in DK mini games. This game has a fun story mode, and an extras mode which includes things that are on no other mario party. Every single mini game is fun and challenging. Nintendo did a great job. Plus, the graphics are amazing. Don't forget all of the cool items, like the majic lamp and the warp pipe. And the mini-mega system can't be left out, which allows you to grow and steel coins or shrink and go through short cuts. This doesn't include regular duel mini games in party mode but it makes up for it in story mode mini games. This is a great game that everyone should have. It will suply you with hours and hours of fun. Go Mario Party!

    Mario Party 4 (GameCube)

    Created: 15/11/06
A great game that's hard to find. It’s a pretty bold claim but for many, Mario Party is the best multiplayer game series ever. No need for guns or complicated role-playing elements here--Mario Party is fun because it’s simple. There are over 50 minigames in Mario Party 4, and each involves either a free-for-all, two players against two, or one against three (depending where you land on the board at the end of your turn). These can involve anything from skydiving to basketball dunking, or car racing to hide-and-seek, to name a few.

VERY GOOD0 RECOMEND FOR ANY ONE

    Created: 04/06/10
I bought the MARIO PART 4 three weeks ago and was immediately impressed with the number of features available on this inexpensive game. It has a whole bunch of new games great quality . The MARIO PART 4 size is perfect for carrying in a pocket and the battery has a pretty good lifespan of roughly 4 hours. My only complaint is that you need a mic for some games thats what s the bad side. Other GAMES I've owned have simpler menus and get you to important features easily. Overall, I'd recommend this game if you're a MARIO PART 4 FAN.
