Mario Party 7 (game only) (Nintendo GameCube, 2005)

Mario and his friends hop on a boat to travel the world and have fun: via landmark based Mario Party boards.

It's definitely fun and worth getting if you haven't played a Mario Party game since it's Nintendo 64 days and are thinking of picking one up, but if you already have a Gamecube version of the game, this one's nothing special. It's cute and it has a lot of minigames (and the mic feature is neat, too!) that range from easy to almost too complex for even me to understand.

If you've got a a couple of friends (or kids) and a GameCube sitting around you want to put to use, I'd recommend this game, but I'd try to find on ebay; some stores and sites still cost over and beyond the full price that this item is actually worth.

Mario Part 7 will make a great addition to a game collection especially if the previous six are owned. Mario Party 7 features more new mini-games, an eight-player party mode, and new characters like Birdo and Dry Bones.

I love MP7 because it has fun Minigames and you can also play microphone minigames. One of the things that I also love about the game is that you can play up to eight players and that just makes it even more enjoyable!!!

I think MP7 is a better game than MP4 and MP5 because the games are more challenging and the "gameboards" are more entertaining! The use of the Orbs in MP7 is very exciting because they belong to your character unlike MP5 where if you place an orb on the gameboard it doesn't belong to you and you can get damaged by it. No fun in that! The bonus stars in MP7 are not your usual Minigame Star, Happening Star, and Coin Star. They mix them up to include several different bonus stars such as, the Running Star, Shopping Star, Orb Star, and more! I decided to buy this game because I'm a big fan of Mario Party. I began playing them since the begining when we had our Nintendo 64.

The game itself replicates the many other Mario Party game experiences. This one the game boards tour the world which is cool. The microphone is the coolest thing about it because they crated multiple new games with using voice, whether they are 3v1 or free for all. The game overall is best to be played with four friends where you can steal stars, earn bunches of coins through mini-games, and land on happening spots that make you do weird things. But great game. 4 out of 5 stars.

Up to 8 players can play this game with added controllers..This was not one of my picks for a Mario game..I found it hard to get anywhere with out running into Bowser...I always like the little mini games though..(now this is grandma who is saying this)..My kids love the game..But that is Mario for you....My grandkids playing with my older teenagers just really were able to get into this one..AA++.
