Album Notes
This is a limited edition packaged in a digipack with concert booklet.Contains 29 hidden tracks after "Man Overboard."Blink 182: Mark Hoppus, Tom DeLonge, Travis Baker.Engineers: Guy Charbonneau, Sean O'Dwyer, Bryan Worthen.Recorded live at The Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, San Francisco, California on November 4, 1999 and at The Universal Amphitheater on November 5, 1999.Personnel: Tom DeLonge (vocals, guitar); Mark Hoppus (vocals); Travis Barker (drums).Audio Mixers: Jerry Finn; Tom Lord-Alge.Recording information: The Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, San Francisco Convent (11/04/1999-11/05/1999); The Universal Amphitheatre (11/04/1999-11/05/1999).Editor: Joe McGrath.Illustrator: Glen Hanson.Photographers: Skye Everly; Justin Stephens; Tim Stedman; Thomas Noto.A live run through of Blink 182's greatest hits, recorded before adoring California crowds, this album is probably the best way to experience these endearing pop-punkers' infectious three or four chords Green Day-ish sonic assault. Highlights include the uncharacteristically melancholy "Adam's Song," "Family Reunion" (a dirty joke with great harmonies), and the audience favorite, "What's My Age Again?"Also expect a lot of very funny stage patter between songs, including a monologue about dressing up in women's clothing the better to seduce your own father. It's wholeheartedly, and good-naturedly, obscene.

Editorial Reviews
3.5 stars out of 5 - ...[They] possess such charm....always obeying the 1st Three Laws Of Rock. Have a good time; maintain the generation gap; and keep it simple.
Melody Maker (20001107)

3 out of 5 stars - ...They raise the occasional childish smile and they do rock at a furious pace. Live, they are immature, beyond juvenile and despite being wearily scatological are not wholly unfunny....essentially for the 15-year-old in us all...
Q (20010101)

7 out of 10 - ...On this speedy live best-of, loads of smirky, self-depreciating one-liners about boobies, boners, and crooked wieners....can't conceal the music's winning wistfulness...
Spin (20001201)

3.5 stars out of 5 - ...[Tom] DeLonge is one terrific little guitar player, the comic chitchat interludes are a sweet bonus for fans, and [they] steal enough moronic hooks to make [this] a hoot.
Rolling Stone (20001207)

The Enema Strikes Back: The Mark, Tom, and Travis Show

Created: 01/12/07
I am an old Blink 182 Fan. I'm not too crazy about anything that came out after this CD. Enema of the State and Dude Ranch are perhaps my 2 favorite CDs. This CD is made up of those songs and a few extras from other CDs.

Despite Blink 182 being the worst live band ever, the reason I bought this was because a friend showed me this CD years ago, and I remember laughing very hard at the childish humor. Thus I decided to go on ebay and get one for myself. It was a used copy, but the previous owner took good care of it.

As a drummer, I'm disappointed that Travis Barker, who yea is a great drummer, does not keep up to par with some of the original recordings of the songs, such as Adam's song, Damnit, D*** Lips, and Aliens Exist, just to name a few. I could just be stubborn, but for someone as flashy as him, I would at least to hear what I was hearing on the CD or something better, and not worse.

blink 182 is probably my all time favorite band so you can obviously see that i would love it unconditionally, which i do.
this album in my opinion was great. played all their best songs and even threw in a few fart jokes and what not. blink isnt a serious band which i like and have fun on stage with eachother and their fans. live performance sounds good.
the only thing i didnt like is the unfunny jokes, but thats fair just in general.
all in all, typical funny blink performing great songs.

I bought it cause i love blink 182!!! I like hows mark and tom talk in between songs and how they add in some lyrics here and there. They also actually sound good live, not like on youtube where they sound horrible, its a really great and funny cd!

Great album. Blink are amazing and this is a great live contibution. If you don't like Blink 182, this wouldn't be the place to start. Be forewarned... Much of the album contains some nasty bits between Mark and Tom. If this comes as a surprise, then you obviously never saw them live. Either way, the album is fun and a welcomw addition for true fans!!!
