The book is required for my college class. That is why I bought it. It's an easy read. If you really want to learn about couples, marriage, and families then this book is good for you!

I dislike the viewpoint of the book. I am not as much into the family change perspective. I needed it for my class though.

A first rate quality textbook. I think it will be of great use during my upcoming class. The book is easy to read and already has me thinking about my own family and how the definition of the family has changed since the 1950's.
